O'BRIEN, (Newtown East, Bantry and Reenmeen Woods, Glengarriff) - On February 16th, 2024, Mary (retired SRN), passed peacefully, in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Bantry General Hospital. Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Kathleen, dear sister of Tim (California), Cormac, Michael, Catherine, Patricia and Nora (Widger) Waterford, sister-in-law of Janice (California), Anne, Sheila and the late Jerry. Deeply regretted by her loving family, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and all her very good friends in the nursing and medical profession. May she rest in peace. Requiem Mass on today (Monday) at 12noon in St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry, followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
