McLOUGHLIN - Padraig - late of Drumduff North, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, died May 6, 2025.
On the occasion of Padraig’s First Anniversary, Monica and the family wish to express their sincere gratitude for the kindness and support received from so many people over the past year. We sincerely thank all those who attended the wake, Mass and burial, some of who travelled long distances. We are also deeply grateful for all the cards, letters, messages of sympathy and gestures of kindness, all of which have been a source of great comfort to us.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to our friends and neighbours who provided practical and emotional support, to Padraig’s former colleagues at DVS who provided a guard of honour and to the many organizations and committees, that Padraig was a member of, who recognised his contribution over the years.
We are forever grateful to Fr. Frankie Murray and Sister Helen for their help in making the funeral service a true celebration of Padraig’s life and to Funeral Undertaker Hubert McCormack for his sensitive and kind support.
To the doctors, nurses and staff of Sligo General Hospital we are forever indebted.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Padraig is remembered with love today and every day as a cherished husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and brother-in-law.
Padraig’s First Anniversary Mass will take place in Drumshanbo, at 10am Saturday, May 9, 2026.
