MURPHY, John, 4th July 2026 (Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly Gort, Co. Galway); suddenly but peacefully in the kind care of the staff of Peamount Hospital. Beloved husband of Máire, loving dad of Conor and Níosa and adored grandad to Adam, Bentley, Rebecca, Jensen and the late Oisín. John will be forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Jessie, Níosa’s partner Stephen, his siblings Derrick, Kieran, Anne, Fionnuala and Jacqueline, Máire’s sisters Éilis and Úna, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Reposing at his home on Monday (6th July) from 4 pm to 7 pm with prayers at 6:30 pm. Funeral on Tuesday (7th July) with Requiem Mass at 10 am at the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballycane, Naas, followed by burial at St. Corban's Cemetery, Naas. Family flowers only.
