HOLMES - Kathleen (Kay), Killiney, Co. Dublin. August 4, 2026, peacefully, with her family at her side in the tender care of all the staff at St. Vincent's Hospital/Caritas. Kay, beloved wife of the late Brendan, loving mother of Ciara, Clodagh and Barry. Sadly missed by her devoted children, sons-in-law Barry and Paul, daughter-in-law Tracy, her treasured grandchildren Robert, Ellen, Sarah, Holly, Genevieve, Tom and Nicholas and brother-in-law Richard. Predeceased by her beloved sister Bridín and brother Paddy (Keane). Kay will also be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, her wide circle of neighbours and friends including Carraig Ladies Club. May she rest in peace. Reposing in Fanagans Quinns Funeral Home of Glasthule on Friday 7th August from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning 8th August, to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin, arriving for 10 o’c Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

FARRELL - Brian, Glenageary Co Dublin. 3rd August. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the staff of Ashford House Nursing Home. Beloved husband and best friend of Maeve, adored Dad of Colm, Eimear and Declan, devoted grandad of Hannah, Sophie and Emma. Loving father-in-law of Kate, and cherished brother of Maura, Patricia, Brid, Nick and the late Joe. Brian will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, in-laws, nieces and nephews and his many friends. Brian’s family wishes to thank all who cared for him in St Vincent’s University Hospital and in Ashford House Nursing Home. Mass at 10am, Friday 7th August, Our Lady of Good Counsel, Johnstown, followed by a private committal at Mount Jerome. Family flowers only please.
