KELLY, Joe (M. Ch., Orth. F.R.C.S.I.) May 28, 2019; (Maree Road, Oranmore, Co. Galway and formerly Béal an Mhuirthead/Belmullet, Co. Mayo) (peacefully) after a sudden illness, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin following the excellent work of the A & E Dept., at UHG. Predeceased by his parents Dr. Thomas and Bridget Agnes and his brothers Tommy and Vivian. Beloved husband of Angela (née Kehoe) and much loved father of Tomás, Joe, Úna, Aonghus, Éadaoin and Galvea, grandfather (Dadó) of Bea, Zolea, Banba, Oscar, Surnaí and Art. Sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughters, grandchildren, sisters Mary, Geraldine and Rosaleen, brother Des, son-in-law Dana, daughters-in-law Elaine and Paula, nieces and nephews, colleagues and many friends. Reposing at home today (Thursday) from 4p.m. to 8p.m. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 1p.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore, Co. Galway. Funeral after Mass to Renville cemetery, Oranmore. Family flowers only and donations in lieu to the Simon Community please if desired. Slán agus grá mo chroí go deo na ndeor.

BELL, David (Dundrum, Dublin) May 31, 2021 peacefully in his 102nd year, surrounded by his family in the loving care of Sr. Mary Bridget and the wonderful staff at The Holy Family Residence, Roebuck; Beloved husband of the late Anne and loving father of Paul, David and Cathy Anne. He will be sadly missed by his children, daughters-in-law Sally and Sarah, his beloved grandchildren Matthew, Daniel and Sarah Kate, David, Jessica, Emily and Juliet, also Thomas and Harriet Freeman and his extended family, including Emmet and god-daughter Raymonde . David will be fondly remembered by all who knew him, especially those in Castleknock College and the PPU, Courtown GC and Tara Cove, Lansdowne FC, The Association of Referees (Leinster Branch) and all his colleagues in the legal profession. Due to government guidelines a private family funeral Mass will take place in Castleknock College on Friday (June 4) at 11.30 am. DARBY, Jean (née Dawson) – June 1, 2025, peacefully, at home, in the care of her loving family. She will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend Reginald, children Carol, Stephen, Andrew, Lynn and also Samuel, together with their partners Roger, Mandy, Marian and Rosy. Dearly missed by her siblings Alec, Liz, Dorothy, their families and her cherished grandchildren, Sophie-Mae, Robin, Catherine, Hannah, Zach, Vanessa and Michelle, extended family, many friends and neighbours in Leopardstown. Family flowers only, Cremation private. A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for Jean's life will be held on Friday (June 13) at 2.00pm in St. Brigid's Parish Church, Stillorgan (A94 HK82).
