0'RIORDAN - Tom (Churchtown and Clonskeagh, Dublin and formerly of his beloved Ardfert, Co. Kerry) June 20, 2022, (peacefully), surrounded by his family, and in the kind and wonderful care of the staff of Chestnut Ward, Clonskeagh Nursing Unit. Beloved and loving husband of Barbara, proud father of his four children, Karen, Donal, Ian and Angus. Deeply missed by his four brothers and three sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law in Ardfert, Waterford, Sydney, Melbourne and California, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Emma-Jane and Louise, his precious grandchildren – “The Magnificent Seven” – Tom, Molly, Jack, Isabella, William, Kate and Charlie, nieces, nephews, cousins, Donore Harriers and newspaper colleagues. Removal  from Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum  this (Thursday) morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park.

RYAN, David Kevin, (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) June 19, 2023 in St Vincent’s University Hospital, peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family and his best friends. Through their inexpressible grief his parents Ben and Pat, sisters Niamh and Megan, brother-in-law David, his aunts, uncles and many cousins treasure the gift of David’s life. The family are greatly indebted to all the incredible staff at SVUH and Orwell Health Care. David will be reposing this (Wednesday) evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in Carnegie’s Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94XK28). Removal tomorrow (Thursday) to St Patrick’s Church, Monkstown for 11.00am Requiem Mass followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium in the presence of his family and his close friends. No flowers please.

SANDFORD, Gerry (Greystones, and formerly of the Sunday Tribune and Irish Times) - June 22, 2015. Amid the care and kindness of the extraordinary staff of the Cedar Ward, St Vincent's Private Hospital, and in the loving embrace of the most treasured people in his life. Beloved husband of Ros, adored father of Demian, cherished stepfather of Nick and proud grandfather ('Papa G') of baby Max. Gerry leaves an incalculable void in the lives of all who knew him - his brother Sean and all his siblings; his in-laws, especially Pauline, Alan, Patricia and Ros's parents, Marion and Jim; and his many friends from times past and present. Gerry's funeral service will take place at 3.30pm this Thursday at Mount Jerome, an occasion to mourn his passing and give thanks for a life lived passionately and honestly.
