O'RIORDAN - Tom (Churchtown and Clonskeagh, Dublin and formerly of his beloved Ardfert, Co. Kerry) June 20, 2022, (peacefully), surrounded by his family, and in the kind and wonderful care of the staff of Chestnut Ward, Clonskeagh Nursing Unit. Beloved and loving husband of Barbara, proud father of his four children, Karen, Donal, Ian and Angus. Deeply missed by his four brothers and three sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law in Ardfert, Waterford, Sydney, Melbourne and California, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Emma-Jane and Louise, his precious grandchildren – “The Magnificent Seven” – Tom, Molly, Jack, Isabella, William, Kate and Charlie, nieces, nephews, cousins, Donore Harriers and newspaper colleagues. Removal from Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum this (Thursday) morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park.

(Clonskeagh and Ardfert) - On this Tom’s First Anniversary, his loving wife Barbara, daughter Karen, sons Donal, Ian and Angus, and their extended families, wish to express our sincere appreciation to all those who conveyed their kindness and support over the past year. Thank you for the cards, messages and sympathy, particularly from Kerry, America, Australia and England. Impossible as it is to thank everyone individually, we trust that you will accept this notice of acknowledgement with our utmost gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. A special thank you to Msgr Ciarán O’Carroll of the Sacred Heart Church, Donnybrook for funeral Mass and Kilternan Cemetery prayers. Rest In Peace, Tom, you will always be loved and missed by us all.
