POWER - Derry (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, and formerly of Youghal, Co. Cork) – Passed away peacefully on 5th September 2025, surrounded by his loving family and under the exceptional care of the staff at the Fern Dean Nursing Home.

Beloved husband of Billie, cherished father of Michelle and David, and much-loved father-in-law of Tony and Dervilla. Adored grandfather of Mark, Nicole, Adam and Zoe. Deeply missed by his sister Liz, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral on Tuesday, 9th September arriving at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock at 9:45 for reception and words from the family followed by Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by cremation afterwards at Mount Jerome.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the St. Vincent de Paul Foundation.

LAVALLE - (née Hyland) Eileen. Spoleto, Perugia, Italy formerly of Seapoint Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, died peacefully on August 18, 2025 at her home. Predeceased by her husband Franco, her parents, Mark and Kathleen Hyland, her sister, Sr. Marcella and her sister-in-law, Ann Hyland. Sadly missed by her children Marco, Kathleen and Gioele, their partners Gianna, Riccardo and Giovanni, her grandchildren Chiara-Enya, Sara-Jane, Daniel-Owen and Angelica, her brother Bill (William), sister Kathleen, nieces Aimée-Louise, Lorna-Jane, extended family and friends.

WOLFE - Jack, Howth and Malahide, September 3, 2025 in his 102nd year, he sailed away peacefully on the evening tide. Pre-deceased by his son Harvey. Jack will be fondly remembered by all, especially his sons John, Peter and Ken daughter Lynn, their spouses Penny, Jill, Wanda, and David, grandchildren Nick, Julie, Ariel, Danny, Otto, James, Ross, Art, and Thea great-grandson Sean and by his extended family, wonderful neighbours and many many friends in sailing and beyond. Special thanks to each and every one of the staff at Howth Hill Lodge and Brymore Nursing Homes where he was so happy and exceptionally well cared for over the past three years. Jack will repose at Lannon's Funeral Home, Skerries, on Monday September 8 from 6pm to 8pm. Removal Tuesday September 9 to Dardistown crematorium for 12 noon service followed by cremation.
