OCARROLL - Theresa (died September 9, 2024) - On this her First Anniversary, her family would like to thank all of those who called to the house and Funeral home, attended her Funeral in Dalkey as well as her burial in Ballyovey, Kilkerrin, Co. Mayo. We greatly appreciate the numerous messages of sympathy, Mass cards and flowers we have received from family and friends. In particular, we would like to thank the musicians Lynn Hillary, Ronan Murray, Pete McKenna and Conor Byrne, who played so movingly at her Funeral Mass. We are grateful to the team at Quinn's Funeral Home who looked after the Funeral arrangements. Thanks also to Fr. Liam Lacey. Fr. Brian Cronin, Fr. Des Arigho and Finbarr Madden in Dalkey.

RUTLEDGE - Kevin A. (Art Historian, late of Rathgar, Dublin 6W) peacefully September 6, 2025, in his 86th year after a long illness in the wonderful care of the staff at St. James’s Hospital and the tender support of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved brother of Roberta (Stansfield - London) and Brian (Portobello) and their partners Tony and Maneewan. Deeply regretted by his siblings, his cherished nieces Cara Bradley and Emma Angood, and their families in London. Treasured cousin of the Plunkett and Rutledge families in Ireland, the UK and Europe. Kevin will be greatly missed by his devoted circle of friends and neighbours, and members of the wider art world. Kevin was a gifted man who was a gift to us all. Kevin’s Funeral will take place in The Church of St Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus on Wednesday morning at 11.30am (streamed via parish website) followed by buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery.

DUKES - Neville (Knockroe, Courtown, Co Wexford and formerly of Ballinteer, Dublin). Peacefully surrounded by his family in the dignified care of the wonderful staff of St. Anne's Ward and the Haematology Team at St. Vincent's Hospital Dublin. Much loved husband and best friend of Val, devoted dad and friend to Jonathan and Karen, adored grandad to his grandson Hugo, brother of Trevor Susan, Wendy and the late Clive. Will be very sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter, brother, sisters, grandson, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Reposing at Murphy's Funeral Home, The Avenue, Gorey today (Monday) from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Murphy's Funeral Home on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12 noon. Cremation will take place privately. WALSH - Dr. John L.M. M.B. BCH, M.A.O. F.R.C.O.G. Obstetrician Gynaecologist (O’Callaghan Strand, Limerick). September 5, 2025 peacefully at home. Beloved husband of Sue. Dearly loved father of James, Tom, Matilda and Eliza. Sadly missed by his loving daughter-in-law Dee, sons-in-law Paul and Bart, much-loved grandchildren Molly, Grace, Thomas, Paul, Isabel, Ali, Beau and Jack, sister Mary, brothers-in-law Jim and Patrick, nephew, niece, extended family and friends. Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street tomorrow (Tuesday) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road on Wednesday (September 10) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery. McCARTHY - Blanaid (Dublin, previously of Blainroe, Co. Wicklow). September 5, 2025 at Blackrock Clinic after a long illness. Loving mother of Brian, darling daughter of the late Roisin and Mixie. Sadly missed by her brothers Brian, Stephen, Michael and Robert, sisters-in-law Ciara, Simone, Lulu and Tara, her many nieces and nephews whom she adored, her extended family and many friends. DOHERTY - Rosaleen (Shankill, Dublin, Derry and Buncrana) September 4, 2025 (peacefully after a short illness) at St. James’s Hospital. Dearly beloved sister of Charles (deceased), Breedge, Philip and Fr. Patrick, sister-in-law of Ruth, aunt to her nieces and nephews, and daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret. A member of the Teresian Association, she gave life-long service as teacher, Principal then Manager of The Teresian Junior School and Chairperson of the Board of Management of the Teresian Secondary School at Donnybrook, Dublin 4. Very sadly missed by her family, members of the Teresian Association, staff, students and parents, past and present, of The Teresian School. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4, (opposite UCD Flyover), on today (Monday), September 8, from 3:30 p.m., prior to departure, at 4:30 p.m., to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, arriving for Reception Prayers at 5 p.m.

Funeral Mass on tomorrow (Tuesday), September 9, at 12:30 p.m., followed by burial at Dean’s Grange Cemetery.
