PEOPLES - Bridie, (née Joyce) Barnfield, Corroy, Ballina, Co Mayo and formerly of The Islands, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny. Oct 21, 2025. Peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family after a short illness that she faced with bravery and dignity.

Bridie predeceased by her parents, parents-in-law, brothers Pat and Fr. Jer. Sadly missed by her loving husband of forty-six years John, devoted daughters Eimear and Áine, sisters Mary Hogan (Mooncoin, Kilkenny), Kathleen Ryan (Tullogher, Kilkenny), Anna Kelly (Lisnagry, Limerick) brother Tom Joyce (Thurles, Tipperary), nieces, nephews, extended family and her wide circle of friends. May Bridie Rest in Peace. Reposing at McGowans Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) today (Thursday) from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Teresas Church, Rathduff tomorrow (Friday) at 12 noon for Requiem Mass with funeral proceeding to Ballinahaglish Cemetery, Knockmore for burial. House Strictly Private Please.
