BROWNE, Paddy. (Toombeola, Roundstone, Connemara, Co. Galway; formerly of Coolnevaun, Upper Kilmacud Road, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin) 27th September 2024, ( two days after his 103rd birthday ) peacefully in the wonderful care of Friar's Lodge Nursing Home, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Angela and his son, Dee (Diarmuid). He will be sadly missed by his sons, Kevin and Colm, his daughter, Anne, daughters-in-law, Mary, Clare and Barbara, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, relatives, a wide circle of friends and, particularly, the people of Roundstone. Rest in Peace. Paddy will repose at Kevin & Mary's home in Mount Merrion, from 4.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. on Wednesday, 2nd October. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 3rd October, at the Church of Saint Thérèse, Mount Merrion at 10.00am, (webcam; https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/) followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery at 12 noon. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Friar's Lodge Nursing Home, Ballinrobe Co. Mayo. A long life well lived.

DONOGHUE, Ena (née Moynagh) – (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly Mountnugent, Co. Cavan), 25th September 2024. Peacefully at The Fern Dean Nursing Home, Dublin. Beloved wife of Paddy and much loved mother of Freda, Bernice, Clare, Myles, Barbara, Rory and Ronan. Sadly missed by her husband, sons and daughters, their partners Mo, John, Stephen, Eimear, Maki and Giusi, grandchildren Emmet, Amy, Orla, Sarah, Shane, Simone and Daniele, great-grandchild Oscar, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ena will be reposing on Friday evening 27th September at her residence from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning 28th September at 10am in St. Thérèse Church, Mount Merrion followed thereafter by cremation committal at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross (D6W HY98). HANRAHAN, Joe (St. Rita’s, Farranshone, Limerick and late of Aer Lingus, Shannon) - September 23rd 2023, peacefully at home after a long illness, in the care of his loving family. Predeceased by his sister Rita and brother Donal. Sadly missed and forever dearly loved by his wife Audrey. Much loved and devoted father to his sons Des, Rory, Niall and Joe, his six darling grandchildren. Deeply regretted by his brother Michael, brother-in-law Fr. Des McAuliffe, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, wonderful friends and great neighbours. Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 5pm to 7pm, followed by removal to St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Extension. Funeral Cortege will pass Joe’s home in Farranshone en route to Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery Extension.
