O'DONOGHUE - The death has occurred of Geoffrey Paul ODonoghue, Glas-choill, Screggan, Tullamore, Offaly on October 14, 2025. Geoffrey Paul, The ODonoghue of the Glens - Prince of Glenflesk. Predeceased by his wife Frances, brother Francis and grandson John. Beloved father of Paula, Conor, Gwen, Grainne, Donagh, Geoffrey and Niamh, brother of Catherine. Sadly missed by his seven children, grandchildren Marcus, Jack, Ashling, Niall, Sean, Thomas, Finn, Charlie, Frances and Gerry, son-in-law Cliff, Grainne's partner Declan, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O'Reilly's Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore on Friday, October 17 from 6pm. Rosary at 8pm. Removal from his home on Saturday morning to St. Colmans Church, Mucklagh arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining old cemetery. House strictly private please. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Friends of Tullamore Hospital.

PARKE - The funeral has taken place of Brian Richard, Millbrook, Rathmullan and late of Unifi. BOWDEN - Kitty (Kathleen) peacefully in the company of her loving family while in the exceptional care of the staff of Rathborne Nursing Home, Ashtown. Predeceased by her cherished husband John, daughter Barbara and sister Eileen. Forever loved and remembered by her children Denise, Ann and Ian, son-in-law Simon, daughter-in-law Joanne, her treasured grandchildren Conor, Cillian, Anna, Tom, Orlaith and Helen, her sister Patricia, loving nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderfully supportive neighbours of over 65 years and her large circle of friends. BENNETT - (née Shweppe) Nuala Carrickmines, passed away on the 13th October 2025 under the excellent care of the staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital and surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Tony (recently deceased) and loving mother of Brian, Conor, Deirdre (Walshe), Eoin, Gavin and Geraldine. Predeceased by her brothers Fred, Paddy, Eddie, Brian, sister Mary, and beautiful grandson Adam who has a big hug waiting for her. Mother-in-law to Jody, Jackie, Jennifer, Catriona and Michelle. Grandmother to her many (18) cherished grandchildren, great-grandmother to Zach and Alfie and lifelong friend to many. She will be sadly missed by us all. Funeral mass will take place at 10am sharp tomorrow Friday the 17th of October in St. Brigid's Church Cabinteely. followed by the burial in Kilternan Park Cemetery, Ballycorus Road. HICKEY - Oliver (Rathmines, Dublin and formerly of

Skibbereen, Co. Cork) 14th October 2025 (suddenly).

Dearly loved and loving husband of Cliona for over 55 years.

Oliver will be very greatly missed by his children Pierce, Lucy

and Stephen, their partners Ralph and Lesley-Anne, adored

grandchildren Ella, Amy and Jack.

MEREDITH - Sandra (née Burke) (Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Clonkseagh, Dublin 14). Unexpectedly, on 14th October 2025, at Mullingar General Hospital. Sadly missed by her daughters Sarah, Emily and Davina, their father David, grandchildren Charlie, Sam, Elizabeth, Amelia, Florence, Sybil and Henry, her brother David, sons-in-law Gearoid, Dermot and Matthew, extended family and friends. Reposing on Thursday (16th October) at her residence in Crinkill, Birr, Co. Offaly (R42 WY 88) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday morning (17th October) in Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, followed thereafter by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Beloved husband of Maureen and much-loved father of Paul, Rob and Sarah, cherished father-in-law of Dave, Kathy and Fiona and a devoted gag of Noah, Holly, Sam, Liam, Eva, Ali and Zoe. MACGOWAN - Prof. William (Cabinteely, Dublin 18 and of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland) October 14, 2025. (Peacefully) in his 101st year, at the Altadore Nursing Home, Glenageary. Beloved husband of the late Joan and loving father of Nicholas, Guy, Amanda and the late Simon. He will be very sadly missed by his brother Maurice, daughters-in-law Jill and Sandra, son-in-law Charles, grandchildren Jay, Taylor, Elizabeth, Andrew, Hugo, Rebecca and Rachel, nieces, nephews, as well as by his extended family, friends and former colleagues.
