BYRNE, Don Dundrum and late of Ballsbridge (DIT Bolton Street and Railway Union) - Peacefully at home in his sleep after a long illness bravely born. Much loved husband, dad and Grandad. Sadly missed by his loving wife Helene, daughters Rachel, Joanne, Laura, and Clare, son Gavin sons-in-law Alan, Niall, Jack and Gavin’s partner Kat, grandchildren Adam, Matthew, Sam, Hannah, Theo, Oscar and Remy, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his sister Dr. Marie Keating. May he Rest in Peace. Due to current restrictions a private Funeral Service will take place on Thursday October 22nd. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to Our Lady’s Hospice www.olh.ie Don’s family would like to thank all of the carers and the Palliative Care Team who looked after him during his long illness.

O'FLYNN (née Fahy) (3 The Nurseries Taylors Hill, Galway and formerly of Woodquay and Corrandulla) - October 17, 2015, (peacefully), in the loving care of Eileen and staff at the Mystical Rose Nursing Home, Nono, pre-deceased by her husband Paddy; deeply regretted by her daughter Mary (Taylors Hill), her son Seán (Cloonacauneen), brothers, sisters, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Irwin's Funeral Home, Bothár Irwin this (Monday) from 4.30pm. Removal at 6.30pm to St. Joseph's Church, Presentation Road. Requim Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11 o'clock, funeral afterwards to Annaghdown Cemetery.May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

GARVIN, Tom (Dundrum and former Author and Professor of Politics, U.C.D.) 17th October 2024 (peacefully) after a short illness in the exceptional care of the staff in Newtown Park House Nursing Home. He will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by his wife Máire, daughters Cliona and Anna, son John, sons-in-law Tony and John, daughter-in-law Liz, grandchildren Stephen, Chris, Rosie, Seán, Sarah, Daniel and Lara, brother John, sister Catriona, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Monday morning to the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30 followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. Family flowers only please.
