NOLAN, (née Soden) Catherine (Foxrock, Dublin 18 and formerly of Tullamore, Co. Offaly) – Dec. 6, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness, bravely borne. Sadly missed by her loving husband Frank, sons David, Gavin and Jonathan, daughters-in-law Gill, Alanna and Lucie and her adored grandchildren Charlie, Matilda, Sofia, Daniella, Beau and Tadhg, by her devoted sister Muriel and brothers Michael, Enda, David and John, extended family, wonderful friends and neighbours. Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, A98 PX65 on today (Monday) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Reception of Remains at 9.45am tomorrow (Tuesday) in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, followed by Funeral Mass at 10.00am, with burial afterwards in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road. Donations in memory of Catherine to Blackrock Hospice, www.olh.ie “May she rest in peace”

On this, the First Anniversary of Catherine's death, December 6, 2024; we her family Frank, David, Gavin and Jonathan would like to thank all those who travelled long distances, sent cards, messages of condolence, called to the house, attended Catherine's Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock and the cemetery in Kilternan. We are extremely grateful to you. Your shared memories and affection for Catherine meant a lot to us. We wish to extend a special thanks to Dr. Derval Mercer and colleagues The Gables Medical Centre, Professor Janice Walshe and the Oncology Dept. St. Vincent's Hospital, Sharon Agbana Blackrock Hospice, Collier's Funeral Directors, Very Rev. Philip Bradley PP who celebrated the Mass, Eoin Hynes (singer), Ann Walsh who read the prayers at the graveside, Kilternan Cemetery Park staff. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this awknowlegement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude. A Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
