Our dearly beloved
RICE, Dr George
You can find the latest obituaries and death notices updated daily on our website. The family publishes an obituary and later also a thank-you notice in the newspaper. We deeply regret the recent bereavement and extend our sincere condolences. The memorial tribute for our esteemed colleague will appear in tomorrow’s local section. Our website provides an overview of all current obituaries and death notices. In deep mourning, we bid farewell to our beloved father. In the event of a death, we offer professional assistance with placing death announcements. Relatives have the opportunity to publish personal expressions of gratitude in a thank-you notice. All important details concerning the current death case can be found in the death announcement. We compassionately support you in times of bereavement and help you design your memorial ad.

RICE - Dr. George (Drumcondra, Dublin and formerly Tralee, Co. Kerry), (November 15, 2021) - On the occasion of George's First Anniversary, Helene and Tara as well as George and Kathleen, John, Nóra, Tomás and extended family, would like to extend our warmest thanks for all the kindness, love and support we have received. Sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us at our time of great sorrow. Thank you to those who were able to attend George's funeral in person or on line and those who sent cards, letters, flowers and messages on rip.ie. Thank you for the many great stories we will cherish. Special thanks to our amazing GP Dr. Mary Behan and her team and the staff at the Mater Hospital. We are so grateful to the wonderful carers who looked after George as a friend and particularly to Samantha and Cliona.

“He had one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life.” (The Great Gatsby).

Níl sé imithe uainn ach imithe romhainn.
