KANE - (née Burke) Una (Kilmacud, Co. Dublin and formerly of Goatstown) - January 2nd 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by her devoted family in St Vincents University Hospital, having been lovingly cared for by the staff at St Josephs, Shankill. Beloved wife of the late Seamus for over 65 years and ever-loving Mum of Seamus, Linda (Cronin), Andrew, Susan (OBrien), Ann (Condon) and Janet (Hickey). Dearly loved mother-in-law to Deirdre, Kieran, Paul, Alan and Ódhrán. She will be sadly missed by her 6 children, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, her 16 adored grandchildren Ed, Jamie, Dan, Jen, Romy, Conor, Tim, Ella, Cian, Amy, Mark, Sam, James, Alex, Matthew and Róisín, 6 great-grandchildren Fiadh, Sophia, Zoe, Ronnie, Rose and Isabella, her extended family and friends. Una will be reposing this (Wednesday) afternoon from 3pm to 5pm in Fanagans Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94XX28. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am in the Church of St. Laurence OToole, Kilmacud followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu to St. Josephs Centre, Shankill.
