MERCER - Patrick (Paudie), (CEng FIEI, Dalkey, Co Dublin and Roscommon, formerly Clane, Co Kildare and Terenure) December 21st 2025, to the great grief of his wife Renagh (Holohan), son Gavin and daughter Derval. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rose. Deeply regretted by his grandsons Hugo, Henry, Jan and Ollie and granddaughter Marguerite, his son-in-law John McHugh and Gavins partner Joanna Lawlor. Sadly missed by his sisters Anne and Josephine, brothers John, Michael and Brian, sister-in-law Ide Leddy, brothers-in-law Peter Bellamy Knights and Niall Holohan, relatives and many, many friends in Flogas and in engineering, beekeeping, boating and aviation. May he rest in peace.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, 27th December, at 10am in Church of the Assumption, Dalkey. Funeral thereafter to the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the R.N.L.I.

MADDEN LE BROCQUY - Anne - December 20, 2025, at her home in Dublin, surrounded by her family and carers. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at Newman University Church, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2, on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 12.00pm. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Louis le Brocquy. Burial strictly private.

Doyle (Alan) Templeogue and formerly Auburn Road, Donnybrook ,

21st December passed peacefully surrounded by his family at St. James’s Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Carmel, loving Dad of Fina and Gilly and devoted Grandad (Hokey) to Sam, Daniel and Juliet.

He will be deeply missed by his sister Mairead Reynolds, his son-in-law Paul Smyth, his nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.

Removal tomorrow Wednesday (24th December), leaving his home at 9.40am arriving for Funeral Mass in St. Jude the Apostle Church, Rossmore Road, Templeogue at 10am

followed by Cremation Service in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross at 12 noon.

JESTIN - William (Bill) (Churchtown and formerly of Grattan Hill, Cork City and ex Department of Labour/ET & E) 19th December 2025 (peacefully) in the tender care of the staff in St. James’s Hospital surrounded by his loving wife Catherine, cousin George and George’s wife Clare. Beloved husband of Catherine (née Gilger). He will be very sadly missed by his wife, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Removal this (Monday) morning to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon following 11am Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Bofeenaun, Co. Mayo.
