ABERFELD - Dr. Louise (Louie) (née Hamilton), (Blacklion Co Cavan, Dublin and New York). On the First Anniversary of her death, the nieces and nephews of the late Louie Aberfeld would like to thank all those who sympathised with us at the time of her death. Thank you to Msgr. Ciarán O'Carroll, who celebrated the Funeral Mass, and to the musicians who enhanced the liturgy. A special thank you to the wonderful staff in St. John's House, Merrion Road, who cared for Louie in her final months and to Dr. Claire Andrews and team in St. Anne's Day Centre St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Louie will be forever in our thoughts.

BARRETT - Liam Rathfarnham, Dublin. 3rd March 2026. Peacefully, in the care of the wonderful team at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Celine and beloved father of Paula, Caitriona, and David. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Alan, daughter-in-law Heather, grandchildren Jack, Hannah, Aidan, and Conor, nine siblings, nephews, nieces, in-laws and extended family, neighbours and friends. Removal on Saturday afternoon (7th March) to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham arriving for Funeral prayers at 4.30pm. Funeral Mass at 10am on Monday morning (9th March), followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery. Family flowers only please. The Barrett family would like to thank the team in the Four Ferns Nursing Home, Foxrock, for the exceptional care Liam received over the past 3 years.

MOORE - Patrick J. (Stillorgan, Dublin), died peacefully at Blackrock hospital on 4th March 2026, in his 91st year. Born in Harold’s Cross and moved to Stillorgan in 1960. Mourned by Mary, his wife of 65 years and his children Anne, Michael, Eilish and Cathy. Predeceased by his eldest son Tommy. He will also be much missed by his sons and daughters-in-law and his grandchildren Mikey, Simon, Roslyn, Danny, Michael, Claire, Louis, Ciara and Oisin. Loved and remembered always by his family, sisters Kathleen and Frances, nieces and nephews, the extended family and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing on Friday (March 6) from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm in Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Main St. Dundrum (D14 F3X2). Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday (March 7) at 10 am in Church of St Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud, Stillorgan, afterwards to Mount Venus Cemetery.

MURRAY - Rita (neé Rackard) - Late of Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 and formerly Killane, Co. Wexford, March 1, 2026. Died peacefully at home. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Patrick Joseph Murray. Sadly missed by their five children, seven grandchildren, relations and friends. A private funeral has taken place.

(née McCarthy), Eileen (Home Farm Road, Drumcondra) March 2, 2026 (peacefully) at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Brendan, daughter of the late John and Mary, pre-deceased by her loving sisters Cora, Patricia and brother Dermot. Eileen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Michael, daughter-in-law Nancy, grandchildren Megan and Michael, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Sunday (Mar 8) from 5pm until 6.30pm. Requiem Mass at 10am on Monday (Mar 9) in Corpus Christi Church, Home Farm Road, funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium.
