BYRNE - Christopher (Johnny Christopher), Late of Tallaght, Dublin 24 and formerly of Terenure, Dublin 6W, and The Liberties Dublin 8. February 23rd, 2026, peacefully at Tallaght Hospital. Christopher will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving children Gary, Ruth and Kim, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, brothers, sisters, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and their partners and children, cousins, friends, neighbours, and fellow musicians. VAUGHAN - Dr. Peter Vaughan F.F.A. R.C.S.I. (Kilkenny and formerly of Rathgar, Dublin and Tullamore, Co Offaly) died on 24th February 2026 on his 69th birthday, peacefully at home, with his beloved family, after a brave battle fought with great dignity and courage. Dearly loved, loving husband

and best friend of Lyndy, devoted father of Andrew.

Peter will be sadly missed by all his family; parents-in-law Hazel and Harry Meyer, brother Richard, sister Linda, sister-in-law, nieces, cousins and all his relatives, colleagues in the medical field and his wide circle of friends. A service to celebrate his life will be held in St John’s Priory Church,

John Street, Kilkenny on Friday 27th February at 12.30pm, followed by a private cremation at Mount Jerome.

GORDON - Carolyn (née Dann) (Templeogue, Dublin), passed peacefully, on 22 February 2026, surrounded by her cherished family. Beloved wife of Ken and much loved mother of Jacqui and Ian, predeceased by her adored son, Nick. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Con, daughters-in-law Caitríona and Claire, brother Nigel, sister Lindsay, sister-in-law Brenda, brother-in-law Simon, grandchildren Nathan, Conor, Arlo, Róisín and Romi-Nic, extended family, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace. Funeral Service on Thursday (26 February) at 12.30 pm in Rathfarnham Parish Church, Rathfarnham Village, afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium Garden Chapel for 2.15 pm. McNULTY - Rev. Fr. Gerard J. McNulty, USA and late of Battery Rd, Longford, peacefully at Nazareth House, San Diego, on February 3, in the kind and loving care of loyal friends and attentive nursing staff. Predeceased by his brother, Dr Cyril, and his parents, Paddy and Lily McNulty. Sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Aidan and David; his sisters-in-law Mary, Peggy, Theresa and Martina; and all his nieces and nephews. Fr Gerry attended All Hallows College, Dublin, and was ordained for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, CA, in 1967. He was a Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and a much-loved Chaplain in the Department of Veterans Affairs. He was a dearly beloved member of his family and will be very much missed by all his colleagues and friends, both in Ireland and the USA. His remains will repose at the home of his brother, Michael, 20 Sandymount Avenue, Dublin, D04 VP11, on (Wednesday), February 25, from 4 o’clock, concluding with prayers at 8 o’clock. Removal to St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock (which can be viewed at www.longfordparish.com), followed by interment in Ballymacormack Cemetery, Longford.
