John (Sean), (Terenure and formerly of South Circular Road, Dublin) – February 23rd, 2026. Passed away peacefully in his 104th year, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness. Predeceased by his beloved wife Cecile and eldest son John. A wonderful father who was devoted to his family, Dad will be greatly missed by his four children, Dermot, Jean, Peter and Moya, his brother Bernard, his daughters-in-law, Gillian and Teresa, son-in-law Carlos, grandchildren Conor, Paul, Séana, Niamh, Clodagh, Ciara, Laura & Aoife, extended family and many dear friends. Requiescat in Pace.

Reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, 100 Terenure Road North today Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. Removal tomorrow Friday morning to St. Pius X Church, Templeogue, arriving for 11am funeral mass followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross.

FANAGAN O’CONNELL - Elizabeth J. (Beth), February 26, 2026. On what would have been Beth’s 100th Birthday the Fanagan and O’Connell families are left with wonderful memories created by Beth in her busy life. She is lovingly remembered today and always by her extended family and many friends.

Wife of the late James (Jim), beloved mother to Richard, Ciara, Judith and Lucy, much loved Granny to Cormac, Fiontan, Ruairi, Magnus, Niall and Louise, cherished sister to Anne and the late Peter, mother-in-law to Shona. Sadly missed by her entire family circle. Funeral has taken place.

EGAN - Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Athlone, Co. Westmeath) February 23rd., 2026 (peacefully) Tomás, beloved husband of the late Patricia and much-loved father of Marc, Edel, Karl and Ruth; sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, sons-in-law Rory and Gearóid, daughter-in-law Heather, brothers Desmond and Eugene, sister-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Removal tomorrow (Friday) morning to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Esker Lawn Cemetery.

McDONNELL - Joseph (Joe), Ennis, Co. Clare and formerly of Limerick.

February 23, 2026, peacefully at the Bon Secours Hospital, Galway. Dear husband of Joan for 65 years. He will be missed greatly by his children Karen, Ross, Kevin, and Blue, his daughters-in-law Maria and Sandra, grandchildren Leah and Kayla, their partners John and Eoin, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Joe lived a marvellous life and was fortunate in his friends and colleagues at Sheils of Ennis, the University of Galway, and Shannon College of Hotel Management.

Reposing at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Cabey’s Lane, Parnell Street, Ennis tomorrow Thursday evening (26th February) from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by removal to SS Peter and Paul Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Friday (27th February) at 10am with burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Extension Cemetery Limerick. House private. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, at Joe's request, to Médecins Sans Frontières. At Joe’s request please wear bright colours when attending the funeral.
