O'GRADY, (Douglas, Cork & formerly of Fermoy and Castleknock, Dublin): On March 6th, 2025 peacefully, after a short illness surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount Hospice, MARY (née Hanly), beloved wife of the late Jim and loving mother of Deirdre, Clodagh (McGowan), Mike, Brian, Catriona and Aoife, predeceased by her granddaughter Cliona and sister-in-law Breda. Mary will be sadly missed by her family, her brother Tim, grandchildren Bronagh, Darragh, Cian, Orlaith, Eva and Cormac, her great-grandchild Ayda, sons-in-law Pat and Liam, daughter-in-law Niamh, her brother-in-law William and his wife Breda, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Requiem Mass at 11.00am today on Monday (March 10th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Rochestown Road (Eircode T12 NW01) Private Cremation at a later date. Family flowers only, please. GIBNEY, Kathleen (née Kiernan), (Churchtown, Dublin 14) - March 4, 2018 peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Leo, adored mother of Ingrid, Amanda and John, cherished grandmother of Alana, Sophie, Lucy, Poppy, Christopher, Rachel, Jessica, Leo and great-grandmother of Ruán. She will be greatly missed by her sister Rose, together with sons-in-law Jan and Keith, daughter-in law-Clare, extended family and friends. Removal this (Wednesday, March 7) morning to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown arriving for 11:30am Funeral Mass followed by cremation at the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. House private, family flowers only.
