ODWYER - Billy (Ballinteer, Dublin 16): Remembered with love. On Billys First Anniversary (28 April 2025), his wife Valerie Shaw, children Robyn, Alice and Dara, his parents Matt and Helena and brother Peter would like to thank all who attended Billys funeral, sent cards, letters, posted on RIP.ie, and sent messages. Thanks to everyone who called in to share stories and drop in food and gifts. Thanks to Fanagans for their support and care in arranging Billys funeral and to Canon Liam Belton and Deacon Noel Ryan in Ballinteer Parish for the funeral mass and prayers at Mount Jerome. Special thanks to Ballinteer St Johns GAA Club for the use of their clubhouse, to Jack and Theo Kirwan of Sprout & Co for providing food, and to all at DSD Athletics Club and BSJ who provided a guard of honour outside the church. Thanks to the DSD coaches, parents of the athletes Billy coached, his work colleagues at Cara and Griffith College and Billys friends. Valerie would particularly like to thank her DSD MTR friends who stepped up without hesitation to support her in Nice, where Billy died. Your care and kindness will never be forgotten. Finally, thanks to all our friends and family for your support immediately after Billys death and for your love and ongoing support as we continue to miss him every day. We are grateful to you all.
