TANGNEY - Dr Michael. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dr Michael Tangney, Past President of the ICGP, of Foynes & Adare, Co. Limerick, who died peacefully and surrounded by his loving family. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Katherine, his loving children Michael, Jenifer and Stephen, his daughters-in-law Eleanor and Chloe, his adored grandchildren Leah, Orla, JP and Ashling, his brother Sean, sister Aileen Hunt, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at his home in Adare between 5pm and 7pm on today (Wednesday). Funeral mass 11am on tomorrow (Thursday) in Holy Trinity Church, Adare, followed by burial in the adjoining St. Nicholas’ graveyard. Family flowers only. WALSH - Renee (née Cooney) – Late of Brennanstown Vale, D18, and formerly of Annascanan House, Killucan. 11th April 2026 peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Eamon for 67 wonderful years and much-loved mother of Caroline, Edmond, and Michelle. Renee will be fondly remembered by her adored grandchildren Kate, Jack, Harry, Max and Samuel, and her great-grandchildren Archie and Maya. Deeply regretted by her sisters Olive O.P. and Margaret, her sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends. A private funeral has taken place. SHELLY - Seamus – 9th April 2026, (Glasnevin), in his 101st year, peacefully surrounded by his family in the tender care of staff at the Mater Private Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sarah (Sadie Gibson). Dearly and forever loved father of Mary, Catherine, Bairbre, Denise, Sarah, Stephanie and Tom. Much loved by his 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Very sadly missed by Michael (K), Michael (J), Mercedes, Brendan, Phil, John, Peter, his relatives, many friends and home carers.

Reposing at home on Wednesday April 15th from 5-8pm. Removal on Thursday 16th April to the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

April 8th 2026, peacefully at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin.Darling wife of Eoghan. Adored mother of Eimhin, Anna and Grace. Sadly missed by her loving brothers Dermot and Edward, sisters-in-law Anne, Elaine, Orla and Aedin, brother-in-law Conor, nieces, nephews, extended family and a cherished wide circle of friends. Predeceased by her parents Patsy and Eddie and her sister Maura.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street (tomorrow) Tuesday (14th April) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road on Wednesday (15th April) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Kilmurry Cemetery.
