BUCKLEY, Don, (Dublin) 9th June 2025, peacefully, in the gentle, excellent care of Staff at Orwell Private. Beloved son of the late Mary and Dan Buckley, Mallow, dearly loved brother of Margaret, Joan, Catherine, David and the late John. Don will be sadly missed by his family, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, relatives, godchildren, dear friends and kind neighbours. A celebration of Don’s life will take place in The Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, on Saturday 14th June at 2.30pm. Family flowers only. BUCKLEY - Don. Dublin, June 9, 2025. On Dons First Anniversary, we, his family, wish to express our deep gratitude to all who supported us during the past year. We thank all who attended Dons funeral, those who travelled long distances, or joined us online. We appreciate every Mass card, heartfelt condolence and message of sympathy. Special thanks to Dons steadfast friends, his former Colleagues and Management at The Irish Times. Sincere thanks to
Dovida Home Care and Orwell Private for the wonderful, gentle care Don received. Our gratitude to the Medical
and Nursing Teams at the NCC Centre/H&H Ward at St. Jamess Hospital for their dedicated, excellent care throughout Dons life. We are grateful to the Irish Haemophilia Society and the HSE for their support. Thank you to Peter Massey Funeral Directors for their kind professionalism.
