Senki nem irta le jobban, mint a költö Nagybátyánk, 1956 martírja: GÉRECZ ATTILA Az idegenné lett élet ... Körülöttünk csak fény és csak tükör volt. Szivárvány íven hajolt ránk az ég. S úgy tetszett mintha rengeteg teremben és ezer arccal mi lennénk az ember a mennyre istent s mosolyt szórva szét. Fagy jött. A tükör megrepedt és lehullt. Mosoly szilánkok, tört remény maradt, bezárult négy fal, jéghideg lehelet, s a céljavesztett, szürke évek mellett elidegenült, szennyes áradat. (Gyűjtő, Kisfogház, 1954.) Love you for ever dear sister.

FARRELL, Nancy (Anne-Marie)

My condolences to the Farrell family and all those who were part of it, near or far. As it's sometimes said, death has it's harshness unlike any other but I know that the beautiful Nancy has now found peace. I loved her very much and I'm glad I got to see her one last time, hold her hand, give her a kiss and hear her jokes. She was a smart and intuitive woman and as she said, you couldn't pull the wool over her eyes. I will miss her saying her catchy phrases as she spoke about her knowledge of life and the fact she would leave us one day. This will remain engraved in my heart. Bye beautiful Nancy, L’Éternel a donné, l’Éternel a repris…. but we can still hear the waves in Raghly and think of you as the tide comes and goes.

So sorry for your trouble, Melissa and family. Your Ma certainly had a great innings. I remember your terrific direction of shows back in the day for Players which I had the privilege of reviewing for The Irish Press. I send you also at this time my hopes that you will have as happy a Christmas as you can be expected to have in the circumstances. Best, Peter.
