SHAW-SMITH - Sally Ann (née Exley), Lough Carra, Co Mayo, formerly Dublin, 25th November 2025, peacefully at Mayo University Hospital surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband David. With thanks to all the wonderful people in the community who cared for her in her last years

She was deeply loved and will be missed by her daughters Emma, Melissa and Sophie, son Daniel, sister Corinne, sons-in-law Persis, Jac and Romio, daughter-in-law Lisa, 9 grand-children Nyssa, Amber Asher, Topaz, Metta, Jaya, Ava, Milo and Louis, brother-in-law Richard, nephew Andrew, niece Annabel, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Rest in Peace. Funeral Service on Thursday 4th December in St Marys, Church of Ireland, Cong at 11 am with burial afterwards in Burriscarra Abbey.

So sorry for your trouble, Melissa and family. Your Ma certainly had a great innings. I remember your terrific direction of shows back in the day for Players which I had the privilege of reviewing for The Irish Press.
