Greetings

FINAN, Cairbre

FINAN family, my father just told me about your father‘s passing away and I just wanted to express my condolences. Your dad actually played golf with my uncle three weeks ago and beat him in the doctors / solicitors outing. He said he was in great form. Anyway I just wanted to express my condolences and I wish you all the very best and while its really difficult now the best way to remember somebody is to talk about them and to keep their memory alive for yourselves and for his grandkids and stuff so I really wish you all the best and again condolences on your father’s passing.

KENNY , Joseph

He was a proud husband, proud father but the proudest grandfather. He was so full of life and so much fun. A true character and a great singer. They don’t make them like him anymore. Condolences to Maree, Simon, Joeanne and dearest Leda. May he rest in peace

Just learning about this now. And also of your mum in May. I'm afraid I've been rather disconnected for a while from many of my Irish roots. Love to all the family & hope you're all doing well!

KAVANAGH, Elizabeth Frances 'Betty'

I have just learned of the death last year of my former teacher in Shannon school in the 1960s first in the flats and then in the new built school that was St Johns.on Drumgeely. Respected and loved by so many in Ireland and abroad I had the good fortune to correspond annually for many years. I was a handful then aged 6/7 but there were only about 30 of us across all primary age ranges including my elder Sister Jane sadly already taken. . You were a brilliant teacher and may you rest in peace.
