Mayo) - Peacefully, on September 15th, 2019, at home, Maryborough Hill, Douglas, Cork, PROFESSOR AIDAN O’ REILLY, dearly loved husband of Rita, loving father of Fiona, Barry, Jan-Claire and Gráinne. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, brother Frank, sister Denise, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his residence in Maryborough Hill, Douglas on today (Monday) from 4.00pm until Prayers at 7.00pm. Reception Prayers on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11.30am, followed by Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Columba’s Church, Douglas. Funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea. <p>Deepest conolences for Prof. Aidan O'Reilly death.</p> <p><strong>Basil Tsaras:</strong> This is Basil an old family friend and professional colleague of Aidan’s from Athens, Greece. I am so sorry to read of Aidan’s death. I have so many happy memories of spending some unforgettable time with Aidan, Rita, Barry, Fiona, Gráinne, Denice, Frank O’Reilly and Aidan’s unforgettable mother, in Belfast and Ballyvary, Co. Mayo and London. I recall that Jan-Claire and Fiona were absent at the time nut I finally met Fiona in London.</p> <p>We have had lost contact all these years but Aidan and his lovely family were always living in my heart.</p> <p>My deepest and sincere condolences to all of you my dearest Irish friends of the past. “May he rest in peace”.</p> <p>This is Basil Tsaras from Athens, Greece.
