PURCELL, (née Maguire) Marguerite (Ballsbridge Dublin 4 and formerly Bullock Castle, Dalkey) - 25th September 2022. Peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff at Newtownpark House after a long illness bourne with great courage. Darling wife of the late Vincent for 48 years, beloved sister of the late Noelle (Cantwell) much loved Mum and best friend to her daughter Orla, sons John, James and Paul. Marguerite will be sadly missed by her loving children, brother-in-law John (Cantwell), sister-in-law Joan, nephews, nieces, extended family and her many friends in Elm Park Golf Club and El Paraiso, Estepona, Spain. A special thanks to Adriana Hognogiu for her love and care for Marguerite over the last seven years and all the team at the Blackrock Clinic for their exceptional and dedicated care during her long illness as well as the Community Palliative Care Team at Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of our Lady Queen of Peace, Merrion Road, Dublin 4 arriving at 9.50 am for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am, followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock For it is in dying that we are born into eternal life.
