CROWDEY, (née Ní Fhairceallaig) (Dromnea, Bantry Co. Cork) - On September 24th, 2023, Máire passed peacefully with her children, Laoiseach and Bébhinn, by her bedside, after a brave battle with MND. Survived by Laoiseach and Bébhinn, her grandchildren Luca and Jethro, her daughter-in-law Lillian, her sister Roísín, and her family, her nephew, Cormac and her loving husband and companion of 40 years, Bob. A special thank you to all those who cared for Maire in her final year, the wonderful Liz Harrington and family, the HSE community team and all the staff at Bantry General Hospital. Your care and kindness paved an easier path on a difficult journey. She will be sadly missed and will be remembered for her continued good humour in the face of a cruel and debilitating disease. Thumbs up Máire. A private family cremation will take place on tomorrow (Tuesday) 26th September at 12 noon at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. O'CONNOR, (Blackrock, Co. Dublin, late of New Inn, Co. Tipperary) - September 22nd, 2023. (Peacefully) in the kind and amazing care of the staff of the ICU St. Vincent’s Hospital. J.J. (John), beloved husband and best friend of Cliona, loving and devoted father of Fiona and Emma Jane. Galway) - 22nd September 2023, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda (ex DkIT and founder member, Dundalk Salmon Anglers and Knockbridge Hurling Club). Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Anne, son Donal, sister Áine and brother Gerard. Dublin and Roundstone, Co.Galway) - September 21, 2023, (suddenly) at Galway University Hospital, beloved wife of Barry, mother of David, Emily and Grace, sister of Anne Hennigan and Carmel Greene, mother-in-law of Shane O’Sullivan, and MiMi to Finn and Ben. She will be deeply missed by a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, families and friends. Wicklow) – September 21, 2023, passed away peacefully in her sleep, in the loving care of St. John’s Nursing Home, Merrion Road. Wife of David Jones and the late Victor Warren, sister of Norman and the late Joe.
