MacDONALD, Donal October 16, 2022 - (Foxrock, Dublin 18 ) passed away after a long battle bravely fought in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Michael's Ward, St. Vincent's University Hospital Beloved husband of Pauline and loving father to Arlene, Keelin and Ross. Predeceased by his brothers Norman S.J., Gerald and Dermot. Donal will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving wife and children, grandchildren Saoirse, Oisín, Liam, Ciara, Ríona and Ellie, his brothers Jimmy and Paddy, sister Caroline, sons in law Pierre and Kivanc, daughter in law Kelly, his Columban fathers, extended family, relatives and friends. Reposing at his residence today (Tuesday) from 5.00pm to 7.000pm. Funeral Mass to take place tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 11.30am in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. COLEMAN, Helen (Whitehall, Dublin 9) – October 14, 2022, peacefully at the Mater Hospital, following many years of suffering, beloved daughter of the late Jack and Winnie and much loved sister of the late Betty and Paddy; loving remembered and sadly missed by her sister Catherine (Pearson), sister-in-law Darina, brother-in-law Derrick, her loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, good friends and devoted carers. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand this (Tuesday) afternoon with family in attendance from 5.00 o’clock until 7.00 o’clock. REID, Ken (Rathfarnham, Dublin) - October 15, 2022, peacefully at St. James’s Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Kay and sister Hilary. Very sadly missed by his loving wife Cecilie who has lost her soulmate and best friend, adored children Tanya and Stuart, grandchildren Adam and Zac, extended Family Aoife, Aaron, Lauren, sister Dorothy (Hudson), brother-in-law Brinsley, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many sporting friends from his Hockey days. Ken has been past captain, past president and current Trustee of Rathfarnham Golf Club. Funeral Service tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10.30am in Rathfarnham Parish Church, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium.

SUGRUE, Eoin (Salthill, Galway) Eoin passed away suddenly on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Pasteur Hospital in Nice, France. Born in Salthill on December 8, 1954. Devoted and dearly loved husband of June. Father of Elena and Nicki, father-in-law of Eduardo and grandfather of Juliet. Brother of Áine, Denis, Una, Maura, Eileen, Siobhan, Deirdre and Brendan. He will be forever missed. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Saturday, October 22 from 4.00p.m. to 6.00pm. All are welcome. The ceremony to celebrate Eoin’s life will be held at the Shannon Crematorium, llaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare on Sunday, October 23, at 12.00 noon followed by a reception. We are requesting that only direct family members send flowers to be delivered on Saturday, October 23to the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour. McAVINCHEY, David M.B., B.Ch., B.A.O., F.R.C.S.I. (Kilruane, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary) - Our beloved David died peacefully in the tender care of University Hospital, Limerick on 15th of October, 2022. His death is deeply regretted by his loving wife Elizabeth (Cahill), sons Andrew, Paul, Shane and Gavin and his daughter, Claire. He will be sadly missed by his brother Kevin, his sisters Una and Betty, daughters-in-law Eva (Lennox), Rebecca (Feliciano), Christina (Connolly), his son-in-law, Joe Ryan, his sisters-in-law Irene (Clendennen), Jean (Cahill), and brothers-in-law Peter (Cahill) and Roy (Clendennen). Cherished Grandad to Harmony, Rua, Oisin, Maebh, Ciarán, Aoibhe, Tadgh, Iarlaith, and Aidha who will miss him sorely. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and former colleagues. David will be reposing on (Monday), October 17th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in Kellers Funeral Home, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. His funeral mass will take place on (Tuesday) at 11:00am in Kilruane Church, followed by burial in Kilruane Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
