HORGAN, Terence (late of Sutton, Dublin 13, and formerly of Castleknock, Dublin and Loughrea, Galway) – January 5, 2024 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Husband of Ann and father of his adored little son, the late John; brother of Fr. Pat, Sr. Bernadette and the late Fr. Sean, Fr. Gerald, Brendan, Sr. Mary Clare, Kathleen, Peggy, Gertie and Eileen. Very sadly missed by his loving wife, his nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, his Opus Dei family and friends, and wider circle of friends. May he Rest in Peace. Removal this Monday morning, January 8 to St. Fintan’s Church, Sutton, arriving for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass, with Funeral thereafter to Balgriffin Cemetery.

ABERNETHY, Bríd (nee O Reilly), (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Oldcastle, Co Meath) January 5, 2024, peacefully in the tender care of the medical staff at The Blackrock Clinic. Predeceased by her parents Eddie and Máirín. Beloved wife of John, much loved mother of Siobhán and Colum, grandmother to Eóin, Ailish, Robert and Jody and mother-in-law to Tony (Byrne). Fondly remembered sister of the late Fr. Frank, Sr. Gráinne and Seán. She will be sadly missed by her sisters and brothers Máire (Lynch), Eddie, Ciarán and Una (Palcic), brothers-in-law Michael Abernethy, Bertie Lynch and Michael Palcic, sisters-in-law Brigid Abernethy, Bernie O Reilly and Alacoque O Reilly, nephews and nieces, her wider family and all her friends. MURPHY, Anne (Cherbury Gardens, Booterstown, St. Joseph’s House, Leopardstown and Johnstown Place, Cabinteely) January 4, 2024, at home in the devoted care of Reach Deaf Services. Dearly loved youngest sister of David, Peter, Joe, Kay (Sr. Marcellina MSHR), Philip, Sheila and John, (predeceased by David and Peter and her sisters-in-law Eithne and Helen). Will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, her sisters-in-law Denise, Dolie and Jennie, her extended family, all her friends and all those who cared for her. Peacefully at home in Houston, Scotland on  December 23,  2023. Eldest daughter of the late James and Maisie Doherty, Bridge Bar, Bundoran, Co. Donegal and sister to the late Mary Doherty, Bundoran. Loving wife to the late Geoffrey C.J. Palmer and wonderful mother to Orlaith, Garrett, Fiona, Tony and Ciara. Deeply regretted by her children, grandchildren, sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Judi and Derek, nieces, nephews and friends.

Removal to St. Fillan’s Church, Houston, Scotland on  January 11, followed by funeral Mass on Friday January 12 at 9.30am. Enquiries to John Roach.

WALSH, Catherine (Kathleen) (late of Tuam, Co. Galway and Dublin) (Retired N.T.) - January 3rd 2024, peacefully in the tender care of all the staff at Earlsbrook Nursing Home, Bray. Predeceased by her sister Mary (Laverty) and brother Tom.
