FITZPATRICK - Ivor. We are deeply saddened by the death of our managing partner and dear friend, Ivor Fitzpatrick. Ivor was an enormously charismatic individual who was held in the highest esteem by everyone he worked with through the years. As founder and managing partner of Ivor Fitzpatrick & Company from 1981 he drove it on to become one of the top legal firms in the country. Ivor’s legacy in the legal profession is a significant one and he will be very sadly missed. Ivor was a true force of nature and had a wide range of interests as a lawyer, property owner and entrepreneur. It is impossible to do justice to his many achievements and interests in a short notice, save to say that he was always wise, principled and the most entertaining of companions.

He is deeply missed by his family, friends and colleagues.

The firm’s offices will be closed Thursday 28 March, the date of Ivor’s funeral, as a mark of respect.
