NOLAN, Brian Sebastian (Dun Laoghaire and Sandycove) - February 12, 2024, peacefully in the wonderful care of Our Lady's Manor, Dalkey, after a short illness. Loving husband of sixty years to the late Rosaleen. Hugely inspirational father to Fionnuala, Jonathan and Brian and their spouses, John, Stephen, Christine, and Cormac (deceased). Passionately devoted grandfather to Aoife and Emmet Nolan, and Cillian Barry. President of Foxrock Geraldines GAA Club. Guiding mentor to generations of staff at McCullaghs, Nicholls and Brian S Nolan. His kind and gentle nature will be missed by lifelong friends and neighbours in Kill Avenue, Elton Park, Kilgorman and in Geraldines GAA Club. Fondly remembered by the devoted staff of Brian S Nolan, Dun Laoghaire. Remembering also his late siblings Mena, Maureen, John (Father Herman) and Francis. We greatly appreciate the love and exceptional kindness of his large circle of friends, now and always. And we will be forever indebted to the nuns and saintly carers of Our Lady's Manor. FORDE, Sr. Michelle O.P. (also known as Angel) (Santa Sabina House, Cabra, Dublin and Bom Sucesso, Lisbon) - 11th February 2024 peacefully in the care of the community and staff of Santa Sabina House, Navan Road. Deeply regretted by her loving nieces Dorothy and Anne, nephews Peter, Gregory, Alan and Charlie and their spouses, her relatives and especially her Dominican sisters and her friends in Ireland and Lisbon. Predeceased by her sisters Mildred Saul (U.S.A.) and Sr. Carmel O.P. (S. Africa) and her brother John. (Greystones). Rest in Peace. Reposing at Santa Sabina House, Cabra, DO7 WK25 today (Tuesday 13th February 2024) from 2pm until prayers at 4pm. Removal to Dominican Chapel, Cabra tomorrow (Wednesday 14th February) for the Requiem Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

BETSON - (neé Prill) Renate recently in London at King’s College Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Fennell Betson and mother of Martha, Donald and Denis and grandmother of William and Zachary, all of whom will miss her most deeply. May she rest in peace. Removal on Monday afternoon (February 19) to St William of York Church, Brockley Rise, Forest Hill, SE23 1PS for 11.30am Funeral Mass (February 20). Burial thereafter at 1.30pm at Ladywell and Brockley Cemeteries, Brockley Grove, SE4 1DZ.

McSWEENEY, Eamonn (Mount Merrion, Co Dublin, also of Coolowen, Blarney, Co. Cork) - A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, wife Marie, children Bryan, Suzanne and Barry, daughters-in-law Gemma and Michelle, son-in-law Peter and his treasured grandchildren. Sadly missed and deeply regretted by his brothers Dan, John, Brian and Ted, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. GRANT, (nee Fitzgerald) Margaret R.I.P., 87c Bryansford Road, Newcastle BT33 OLF. Died 9th February 2024, peacefully at Downe Hospital. Dearly beloved wife of the late Gerry. BEATTIE, Francis Albert (Frank) (Rathfarnham) - February 9th 2024 (unexpectedly), at home, Beloved husband of Mildred, much loved father of Suzanne and Philip and the late Garth and Gillian, adored grandfather of Matthew, Gavin and Sophie. Loved and remembered always by his family, brothers, sisters, son-in-law Myles, the extended family and a wide circle of friends. BROWN, John (late of Sutton, Dublin 13) - 10th February 2024, surrounded by his loving daughters Aideen, Davnet and Aisling, in the wonderful care of Anovocare Nursing Home. He has gone to rest in peace with the love of his life, the late Maura. He will be very sadly missed by his daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, extended family and his many friends. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the kind and tender care of the staff at Foxrock Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Joe and loving mother of Gabrielle, Catherine, Paula, Cathal, Seán, Maria, Hugh, Grace, Jane, Gavan, Andrew and the late Geraldine. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
