WADKIN, Alex (Alec) (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin and formerly Leeds, Yorkshire, England) April 29, 2024. Peacefully, with his family by his side, in the care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice. Beloved husband of Dolores and devoted father of Tracey, Samantha, Eleanor and the late Simon. He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law Arash, Julian and Alan, grandchildren Emily, Jessica, Conor, Dillon, Luke and Aimee, great grandchildren Keira and Luna, brother Terry, brothers-in-law Vincent and Paul, sisters-in-law Maureen, Eileen, Joan, Una and Mona, extended family and friends. Reposing in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28) tomorrow (Friday) from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Service on Saturday (May 4) at 11am in the Church of St. Thomas, Fosters Avenue, Mount Merrion (A94 4W54), followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W.
