PIGGOTT, Alexander (late of Shankill and formerly of Dalkey, Co. Dublin and Paisley, Scotland) – February 25, 2024, peacefully, at Altadore Nursing Home, Glenageary, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Agnes (Aggie), father of the late Jim and brother of the late Jimmy. He will be sadly missed by his loving partner Dinny, son John, daughters Mara and Mandy, grandchildren Alex and Annie, son-in-law Phil, daughter-in-law Geri, brother Charles and by his extended family. Reposing in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (February 29) from 10.30am-11.20am, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11.30am. Cremation private. HENDERSON, (nee Hunt) February 26th 2024 (Killiney, Co Dublin) - Lovingly cared for by all the staff in Mount Tabor Nursing Home, Sandymount. Edith, beloved wife of the late Jack for 61 years. Loving mother of Gillian, Rosemary and David. Sadly missed by her children, adored grandchildren Jonathan, Holly, Jaiden, Matthew, Jason and Conor, sons-in-law Ian and Derek her extended family and wide circle of friends. A private Cremation will take place and a Service of Thanksgiving will be held Thursday February 29th in Wesley House, Methodist Centenary Church, Leeson Park, at 12.30pm.

SLOAN, Henry (Hal) (Bawntaaffe, Monasterboice, Co. Louth) - 25th February 2024, peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Aileen and loving father of Pamela, Karen, Jill and Jean. NOHILLY, SMA, Rev Fr Seamus, Society of African Missions, Wilton, Cork (late of Cummer, Tuam, Co. Galway) - On February 24th 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Nora (nee Burns), his brothers Johnny and Fr Michael SMA. Deeply regretted by his sisters Peggy (Gilmore) and Una (Mitchell), his brothers Tom and Eamonn, sisters-in-law Margaret and Marie and his brother-in-law Michael Mitchell, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives, friends, the people of the Archdioceses of Jos and of Ibadan, Diocese of Kafanchan, Nigeria, the Diocese of Killaloe, Ireland and his confreres in the Society of African Missions. Reposing at the African Missions House, Wilton, Cork on (Tuesday) 27th February from 5pm-7pm with Rosary at 7pm. Removal to St. Joseph’s SMA Church Wilton, Cork at 11.30am on Wednesday 28th February for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the community cemetery.
