MULVEY, Patrick Joseph (PJ) passed away on 22nd March 2024. Peacefully, at St. James Hospital, in his 93rd year, following a short illness. Formerly of Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, London, Germany, Paris, and late of Rathfarnham, Dublin. P.J.’s family would like to thank the staff of Orwell Nursing Home, Rathgar and St. James Hospital, Dublin for their loving care. Beloved father of Máirín, Paul, Celine and John Charles. Husband of the late Eileen Mulvey. Sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, grandsons, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. DOLAN, Fergus (Churchtown, Dublin) - April 2nd, 2024. Peacefully in the care of the staff at The Beacon Hospital, Sandyford, Dublin 18. Cherished and devoted husband of Kay and loving father of Fergus and Paul, grandad to Conor and father-in-law to Éilís and Finola. Fergus will be sadly missed and forever loved by his wife, sons, grandson, sisters Maureen (Meath), Emer (USA) and brother Seamus (Meath), his brothers-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. LANG, (née Fennessy) Cathy (late of Sutton) – 1st April, 2024 (peacefully) surrounded by loved ones, after a prolonged illness, at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Beloved wife of Phil, adoring mother of Cara and Cian, daughter of Carmel and the late Tony, and sister of Colin and the late Eoin, Cathy will be very sadly missed by her loving family, extended family, friends, colleagues and the oncology team at St. James’s Hospital. Cathy will be lying in repose at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, tomorrow (Thursday) evening (4th April) with a gathering of family and friends from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock. All welcome. Removal to Dardistown Cemetery Chapel on Friday morning (5th April) for a Celebration of Cathy’s Life, beginning at 10 o'clock, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. O'HARE, (nee Kenny) Sheelagh (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Carnmore, Galway) - 31st March, 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her family at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Beloved wife of Daniel (Danny) and devoted mother of Michael, Nicholas, Domhnall and Fiona. Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Bridie. BOTHWELL, (née Scott) Joan (Raheny, Dublin) - Passed March 29th 2024, peacefully in the care of the staff at St Patrick's Nursing Home, Baldoyle. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Gordon, surrounded by her loving family. McCANN, Gerard (Gerry) (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin, formerly of Ballykeel, Mullaghbawn, Co. Armagh and late of Teagasc) - March 30, 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the kind and tender care of the staff of the Blackrock Hospice. Gerry was the beloved husband of the late Eileen (née O’Donoghue) and devoted Dad to Geraldine, Catherine, Fergus and John. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, cherished grandchildren Frank, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Sarah, Zoe, Daniel, Rian and Laura, brothers Michael, Brian and Eugene, sisters Bridget and Elizabeth, sons-in-law Daragh and Mark, daughters-in-law Jo and Louise, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family across the globe (some newly discovered), his large circle of friends and wonderful neighbours.
