McKENNA, Peter Solr (Sandymount, Dublin, formerly of Mullagh, Co. Cavan), 16th June, 2024, peacefully at Our Lady's Hospice, Blackrock, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and May, son Michael, brother T.P. and sisters Bernadette (McCabe), Sr. Imelda, Una (O’Connell) and Sally. He is survived by his loving wife Martina (née Regan), daughter Fiona, sons Peter and Nicholas, granddaughters Emily and Ava, son-in-law Aidan and daughter-in-law Margot, brothers Raphael and John, sisters Sr. Annette and Angela (McNicholas). He will be sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and many friends and colleagues. Rest In Peace Peter. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Thursday evening (20th June) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning (21st June) to St. Mary's, Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in St. Killian's Cemetery, Mullagh, Co. Cavan. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Our Lady's Hospice, Blackrock. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Blackrock Clinic for their exceptional care of Peter over a prolonged period.
