McGRAW, Sr. Patricia (Mary Patricia) (Religious Sisters of Charity) – April 9, 2024, (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital. Pre-deceased by her parents Edward and Mary and her sister Susan. Deeply regretted by her Community in Temple Street, and the Sisters of the Congregation, her sister Rose Oliver (Canada), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her extended family and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, Dublin 3., this (Monday) afternoon (April 15) from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 11.00am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning (April 16) in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, Dublin 4., followed by burial in the Community Cemetery, Donnybrook.

SHERIDAN, Peter (Rathgar, Dublin) - April 9th, 2024, peacefully, after a short illness, in the gentle and compassionate care of the incredible staff at St. James’s Hospital, and in the arms of his adoring family. Beloved husband of Collette, amazing father of Dermot and Vincent and devoted grandfather to Éabha. Sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Andrea, sisters Bernadette, Carmel, Fionnuala, and Claire, brothers-in-law, Larry and Paul, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and extended family and his many friends. Predeceased by his sister, Jacinta. Removal this morning (15th April) to Church of The Three Patrons, Rathgar, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. We will lay him down softly with love.

BURNS, Sheila, Mary (Terenure and previously of Kenilworth Square). Peacefully on April 11, 2024, in her 94th year. Dearly loved sister of Ann and Michael (deceased) and sister-in-law Anne. Beloved aunt of Nuala, Maeve, Emer, Orla, Patrick, Dervila and Aedemar (Cooke), Éidín, Eoin, Mairtín and Mary (Burns), treasured godmother of Moi and step-aunt of Brian. Her passing will also be deeply mourned by her grand-nieces, grand-nephews, her great-grand nieces, her carer May and her many, many relatives and friends. May She Rest In Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road (D6WN279) on Monday (April 15) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (April 16) to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards at Deansgrange Cemetery.

Olive Bödeker (née Kyne) “Tristan”, Ballyweelin, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo (Artist) April 11, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her family, in the loving care of the staff at North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo. Predeceased by her beloved husband Dr. Karl-Bernhard, brother Michael and sister Grace. Dearly loved mother of Karla, Barry, MacDara and Peter. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughter, sons, sisters Sheelagh, Teenie, Maura and Gabrielle, daughters-in-law Hope, Fionnuala and Mary, brothers-in-law, grandchildren Ralph, Karl, Oscar, Ben and Niall, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. MELODY - Castleknock, D15, - Suzanne and the family of the late John Melody wish to thank most sincerely all of you who sympathised with us over the sad loss of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather. We thank the staff of Gormanston Wood Nursing Home for the loving care and attention they gave John. We thank all of you for the Mass cards, floral tributes, donations, messages, and letters of sympathy. Your presence, words of kindness, good will and graciousness are deeply appreciated by our family. We are grateful to Fr. Ryan of the Parish of St Columba, Iona Road, who celebrated John’s Funeral Mass. A special thank you to Cunningham’s Funeral Directors, who took care of John’s removal and burial in the most respectful and dignified way, the guidance they provided was invaluable. We thank Glasnevin Burials for their kindness and support. Because it’s impossible to thank each of you individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by you as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. John’s Month's Mind will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Fanore, Co. Clare on the April 20, 2024 at 7pm.
