DANIELS, Mary (née Cronin) (late of Booterstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Inagh, Co. Clare and Listowel, Co. Kerry) – April 28, 2024, peacefully, in her 91st year, surrounded by her loving family and in the care of St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. Beloved wife of the late Benny Daniels and Paddy Mahon, dearly loved mother of Veronica, Ruth, Annalisa, Brendan and Andrea, cherished grandmother of Shauna, Edward, Nathan, Ben, Amber and Maryrose, lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Aileen and son-in-law Martin and by her extended family and friends. Funeral Mass on Thursday (May 2) at 11.00am in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown, followed by burial in Dean’s Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. House private. McDONOUGH, Maurice Frederick, (Wicklow and formerly Dublin) - Peacefully, on 29th April 2024, in the tender care of the staff of Wicklow Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Pam for 58 years. Adored Dad of Tiffany and the late Peter. Beloved Grandad of Dale, Josh, Dylan and his granddaughter Charlie. Sadly missed by brothers Jim, Bob and Phillip, sister Daphne and the extended family. McDONNELL, (née O’Dwyer) Patricia (Donnybrook and late of Irish Cone and Wafer Manufacturing Company Ltd) - April 27, 2024 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Alan and brother Michael. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Irene, son Paul and brother Sean, son-in-law James, daughter-in-law Orla, sister-in-law Mary, grandchildren James, Shona, Daniel, Cillian, Isabel and Grace, nephew Tiarnan, niece Ciara and her extended family and many friends, and, in particular, her long term carer Len, to whom her family are most grateful. RICE, James (Jim) (Late of 38A Myrtlefield Park) - Died peacefully under the wonderful care of the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital on 28th April 2024. Beloved husband of the late Nonnie. He will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by his children Gerry, Veronica, Sheila, John, also remembering the late Liz and Raymond, father-in-law to Siobhan, Patricia and Huw, grandfather to Yonatan, Niamh, Paul, Brendan and Grainne, great grandfather to Lyra and Mendel and sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Jim is reposing at his late home on (Tuesday) 30th April from 5pm to 10pm until Wednesday 1st May when his remains will arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Derryvolgie Avenue at 6.00pm. McMICHAEL - (nee Duffy) Eithne, (Newry, Co Down) - Beloved wife of the late Thomas Clinton, died peacefully at home on April  23, 2024.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Maria (Ward), Eavan, Deirdre, Dairina, Cliona (Hawkins), Airmid and loving son Ian, sons-in-law Ciaran Ward, Peter Hawkins, daughter-in-law Ann, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mac GIOBÃIN, Séamus Colmcille Mac Giobúin (Gibbons) (of Rathfarnham and Milltown Dublin) - April 26, 2024, passed peacefully in the care of the staff of Orwell Healthcare Rathgar and in the loving embrace of his family. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Brigid, grandmother Rose Curran, brothers Micheál, Seán and sister Máire.
