SOMERVILLE - Anthony (Tony) (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin and formerly Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin 7) (Died July 18, 2023), predeceased by his parents Mai and Tony and brother Noel. On this first anniversary, Tony’s wife Eileen, daughters Orna and Emma, his grandchildren Mabel, Hannah, Florence and Liam, his niece Julie, nephew Robert, sisters-in-law Geraldine and Hilary, brothers-in-law Peter, Cormac and pre-deceased by Denis, sons-in-law David and Ross and wider family wish to thank most sincerely all our friends, neighbours and Tony’s former banking colleagues who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We wish to thank Dr Eoin Tiernan and the staff of the Blackrock Clinic and Dr Diarmuid O’Shea and the staff of the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook who cared for Tony with compassion and kindness. We would like to thank Fr Jim Caffrey who celebrated Tony’s funeral Mass and all those who attended Tony’s reposing and funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, letters and messages. Because it would be impossible to thank each of you individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by you as a token of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
