HOWE - Alison Rosemary (née Young) May 7, 2026, died peacefully in Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her three sons, beloved wife of the late Charles and dear mother of Timothy, Niall and Jonathan, a much loved mother-in-law, aunt and grandmother to Nathan, Jamie, Lara, Karl, Katie, Callum, Charlie and Lucy. Friends and family are welcome to visit her late home 43, Ashburn Avenue, Londonderry, BT47 5QE on Sunday 10th May from 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. A celebration of her life will take place in St. Columb’s Cathedral, Londonderry, on Monday 11th May at 2.00 p.m., followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Beloved wife and best friend of Barry and much loved mother of Ciarán, Marc, Eoin and Aidan, adored mother-in-law to Elizabeth, Lorraine, Audrey and Fiona, cherished grandmother to Conor, Sophie, Mark, Killian, Hannah, Neil, Aisling, Shane, Emily and Ava, and great grandmother to the late Theo, Niadh and Finn, loving sister of Imelda. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends and neighbours. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Son of the late Anthony Burton & Mary Gabriel Clery, brother of the late Anthony and the late Gerald (Gearoid). Dearly loved husband of Mena (née Fitzgerald) formerly of “Foyle”, Ballingarry, Co. Tipperary. Adored father and father-in-law of Gay & Matt, Oonagh & Joey, Geraldine, John & Jessica and Siobhan & Shawn. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Eoin, Grainne, Kieran, Seamus, Fergus, Ada, Hugo, Liam, Austin and Stella and brother of Mary. (née McGlade), Marie (Donnybrook, and late of Sandymount and Belfast), 6th May 2026. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of John for 59 years, much-loved mother of Niall, Ailish, Mark, Oonagh and Maeve and adored Grannie of Hannah, Rónán, Cormac, Conor, Barra, Caoimhe, Ciara, Sadbh, Jack, Paddy, Daire, Ross, and Keelin. She will be very sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Máire and Shirley, sons-in-law Stuart, John and Gav, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Patrick and Paul. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum, on Sunday afternoon (10th May) from 3 pm to 5pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (12th May) to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park.

O'DONOGHUE - Vincent - late of Cabra and Trimbleston, Goatstown died 29th April 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff and doctors in St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Brendan and Eileen and his brother Eugene. Missed by his cousins Sheila Diarmuid and Brendan, his great neighbours and his many golfing and racing buddies. A funeral service to commemorate his life will take place on Monday 11th May 2026 at 10:30am in The Holy Cross Church, Dundrum, D14 K820 followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
