BARRETT - Sr. Mary Joseph (Religious Sisters of Charity) May 9th, 2026 (Providence, St. Mary’s Merrion. Dublin) Predeceased by her parents John Barrett and Nora Barrett nee Lynch, her brothers William and Patrick, and her sister Nora. R.IP. Deeply regretted by her loving sister Joan, her brother John, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, her community in Merrion, and the Congregation of the Religious Sisters of Charity. Reposing in Corrigans Funeral Home, Camden Street on Thursday 2-4p.m. Prayer Service at 3.30p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon on Friday 15th May in Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Ave. (A94 NW53) followed by burial in the community cemetery, Donnybrook (D04 P7D0)

GUINAN - Patricia (Pat) (née Martindale) – Howth, 10th May 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Blackrock Hospital.

Beloved wife of Michael and devoted mother of Sean and Rebecca. Pat will be deeply missed by her husband, son and daughter, daughter-in-law Katie and son-in-law Des, her cherished grandchildren Olivia, Ethan, Niall, Rowan, Alicia, Paddy, Eleanor, Darragh and Olivia’s husband John Paul, together with her adored great-grandchildren Ariyah, Erica and Rory. Also sadly missed by her brothers William and John, sister Lana, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Removal on Friday morning, May 15th to the Church of Assumption, Howth arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown.

DOYLE - Peter, Booterstown and formerly Terenure, peacefully, on the 11th of May 2026, at St. Vincent's University Hospital.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Brenda, Peter will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Ciara and Kilian, cherished grandchildren Jessica, Leon, Molly and Myles, great-grandchildren Ollie and Ruby, sisters Catherine and Mary, brother Francis, extended family, neighbours and friends. He was predeceased by his brother James.

A Celebration of Peter’s Life will take place on Thursday 14th May at 3:45pm in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium (D6W HY98).

KIRBY - (née Gray), Patricia (Patsy) (Churchtown, Dublin, formerly of Newport, Rhode Island, USA and Gracepark Road, Drumcondra) - May 10, 2026, in her 94th year, peacefully at home in Churchtown, surrounded by her loving family. Greatly missed by her husband of 66 years, Patrick, children Michael, Owen, Éilis and Fionnuala, her daughters-in-law Paula, Stephanie and Kathryn and her son-in-law Mike, her grandchildren Méabh, Malachy, Sarah, Emma and Isaac, sisters Alice, Ena, Ann, and Cora, brothers Mícheál and Peter. Predeceased by her beloved son Patrick, parents Michael and Mary and siblings May, Kitty and Lily, Elsie, and her brother Ned. Reposing at home 4-7pm on Wednesday May 13th. Mary (Cabinteely, Dublin 18 and formerly Douglas, Co. Cork) 1st December 1949 to 11th May 2026. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving, heartbroken family. Former wife of the late Diarmuid. Pre-deceased by her son-in-law Chris. Adored mother of Karen, Glenn, Caroline, Susie, Daniel and Matthew and treasured Mimi to Lorna, Nicholas, Natasha, Remi, Annabelle, Robyn, Christian and Reina. She will be sadly missed by her sister Katherine, brother John, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and her dear neighbours and friends. Funeral Mass on Friday 15th May at 11.30am in the Church of Sts. Alphonsus and Columba, Killiney followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road. AUSTEN - Arthur Henry (Deansgrange and formerly Blackrock Co. Dublin) May 8, 2026. It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved Arthur aged 93 years; peacefully with his family in the kind care of the Blackrock Hospice. Predeceased by his wife Noreen and siblings Stanley, Hazel and Geoffrey. Dearly loved and adored husband of Maureen (Mo) for 34 years and his children Peter, Gillian, Michelle and Kelly and stepsons Leo and Stuart. Gramps and grandad to his 13 cherished grandchildren Jake, Sophie, Hollie, Anna, Jack, Charlie, Harry, Ryanne, Sam, Hannah, Kyran, Ryan and Kian. He will sadly missed and fondly remembered by sons-in-law Alan, Mark and Simon, daughters-in-law Armida, Catherine and Pippa, nephews, neighbours and his many friends especially those in the Stedfast Band. Funeral Service on Thursday (May 14) at 11am in Kill O’ the Grange Church (of I), Deansgrange followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross.
