SHAW, Stanley J., (Clane, Co. Kildare) - June 8th 2024, peacefully at Naas General Hospital, beloved brother of the late Irene and Bertie. Sadly missed by his loving wife Jenny, sons Jonathan and Alan, sister Kathleen, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Tipperary) - On June 7, 2024, after a short illness, predeceased by his beloved wife Monica (nee O'Gorman) and sisters Aileen and Irene. Deeply regretted by his loving children; daughters Patricia and Maeve, sons Paul and Kevin, grandchildren Sara, Suf, Iman, Jay and Alto, sisters Isolde and Maeve, daughters-in law Helen and Lesley, nieces and nephews, sisters-in law Celine, Sr Edna (Medical Missionaries), Anna, Barbara-Anne, Frances, brothers-in law Andrew, Peter, Martin, Noel and Fintan, cousins neighbours and friends. WHELAN, Rita (née Burt) (late of Donegal and Glenageary Co Dublin) - June 7th, 2024. Peacefully in the tender loving care of Mary and Gillian and staff at Kinvara House Nursing Home Bray, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Paul and Fr. Marc C.S.S.p, daughter Olwyn, daughter-in-law Margaret, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Marc, Laura, Megan and Ben, great-grandchildren Jack, Millie, Rian and Sophie, extended family and friends. BROWNE, (née O’Connell) Kathleen (Kay) (Dundrum and formerly of Tuam, Co. Galway) - 7th June 2024 peacefully at home, after a full and happy life, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of John and dear mother of Denis, Joseph and Loreto. She will be very sadly missed and remembered with much love and affection by her family, daughters-in-law Pauline and Anne-Beatrice, her four grandchildren John, Cathy, Max and Laura, great-grandson Sam, her sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Reposing at her home this (Monday) evening from 5pm to 6pm. Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Helen and her brother Francis. Deeply loved and very sadly missed by her husband Joe, daughter Joanne and son-in-law John, sister Eileen, brother Gerald, sisters-in-law Anne, Shirley and Nora and brothers-in-law John, Michael and John, their families, relatives and friends. Reposing at ‘St. Anthony’s Room’ within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra today (Monday) from 5pm. Removal at 6.30pm tomorrow into the Church.
