KENNEDY, June (née Finnegan) (Terenure, Dublin) 12th June 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the loving care of the staff of Marlay Nursing Home, Rathfarnham, beloved wife of the late Frank and loving mother of Dominica, Frank, Thérèse, Olivia and Richard, sister of the late Brian; deeply regretted by her loving daughters, sons, sons-in-law Éamonn, Adrian and Shane, daughters-in-law Yvonne and Aoise, grandchildren Conall, Ailbhe, Eoghan, Qi Qi, Meichen, Xige, Niamh, Clíodhna, Conor and Finley, sisters-in-law Marie and Dolores, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Mackay, Paul (Rathgar, Dublin) 11th June 2024 (peacefully) at St James Hospital, beloved husband of the late Lila, predeceased by his son Neil, he will be sadly missed by his children Ronan, Elva and Gavan, grandchildren Hannah, Leah, Alexandra, Daniel and Hugh, brother Ian, daughters-in-law Elizabeth, Tara and Ciara, nieces, nephew, relatives, and many friends. SUTHERLAND - Ann (Macroom, Co Cork) - June 7, 2024, peacefully at Cork University Hospital in the presence of family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Fergie. Ann will be greatly missed by her daughter Carra and grandson Max; stepsons and daughters – Harry, Rosie, Ady, Tessa and their children; sisters Margaret (Donovan) and Mary (Dorgan), brothers Barry and John together with her many friends and neighbours. A private family cremation service will be held on tomorrow (Friday, June 14). This will be followed by a remembrance gathering for Ann at the Castle Hotel, Macroom at 4pm. No flowers, please. CHRISTLE, Marie (Mimi) (1933-2024) (née Battut) in Aurillac, France on Friday May 10, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband Joe Christle and is survived by her three sons and brother Jean Battut. As Mimi wished to be buried in the family grave in Pleaux Cantal (France) alongside her parents; her sons Mel, Terry and Joe invite all who wish to celebrate her life, to attend Mass at the Three Patrons Church, Rathgar, Dublin, on Saturday June 15, 2024 at 10am.

McCARTHY, Lionel Edward (Harold’s Cross and formerly Stillorgan) – 10th June 2024 peacefully with his loving wife and family by his side. Sincere gratitude for the wonderful care from the teams in both St. Luke’s Hospital and St. James’s Hospital. Lionel will be forever missed by his wife Jeanne, his children Caithriona, Elizabeth-Sarah, Aideen, Lionel Jr. and their mother Ger. ELLIOTT, Kenneth (Ken), M.V.B. Freffans Little, Trim, Co. Meath. June 9th 2024. Peacefully, aged 70, in the compassionate care of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Ken, beloved husband and best friend of Mary for 51 years. Loving father of Peter and Alan. Sadly missed by daughter-in-law Zoë; beloved Papa to grandchildren Theadora and Frederick; will be sadly missed by brother Hamilton, sisters-in-law Joyce, Margaret and Bernadette; brothers-in-law Philip and Don; aunt Alicia, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and work colleagues (European Commission FVO, Grange). Ken will be reposing at home Freffans Little, (C15 XK76) on Thursday June 13th from 3pm to 7pm. Removal from residence on Friday at 12.15 pm to Dardistown Crematorium (K67 HP26) arriving for Service at 1.30 pm followed by cremation. Following the Service a reception will be held at 2.30pm in the Carlton Hotel, Old Airport Road. CUNNINGHAM - Sheila, June 10, 2024 (Omagh and Strangford) formerly Campbell (née McLaverty), wife of Eamon Cunningham, predeceased by her first husband Paul Campbell. Sheila will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sister Maura (Cregan), sons Mark and Tom, daughters Mary Clare and Paula, in-laws, grandchildren and the wider Campbell, McLaverty and Cunningham family circles.

Remains reposing at her late residence 41 Strathroy Road, Omagh today, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 12 noon to 10pm. Requiem Mass Thursday, June 13 at 2pm in St. Malachy’s Church, Kilclief with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House Private on morning of funeral.

Remembered with love by his adored children Laurence and Anne Marie, grandsons Daniel, James and Sean, sisters Mary Dicker and Ann Lang, daughter-in-law Sandra, son-in-law Howard, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and wonderful circle of friends. Funeral Mass to celebrate Larry’s at 11am on Monday June 17, in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow after which Larry will be laid to rest in the family grave at Redford Cemetery, Greystones.
