RYAN, Patrick, (Clontarf, Dublin) – June 27, 2024 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, surrounded by his loving family, his devoted wife Jadwiga, his daughter Natalia, niece Trudy and grandniece Amanda. He will be sadly missed by his family, sister Loretta, his many nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Sunday (June 30) from 3pm until 5pm. Funeral on Monday (July 1) in St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. FANNING, (née Shortall), Ruby Margaret in her 95th year, (peacefully), at home, June 26th 2024. Predeceased by her husband Enda, son-in-law Michael, brothers Bertie, Ken and sister Claire. She will be sadly missed by her loving children Oisín, Enda, Gráinne, Niall, Colm and Nuala, her daughter-in-law Sheelagh, sisters-in-law Vivienne and Geraldine, brothers-in-law Brian and Hilary, her grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her wide circle of relatives, friends and neighbours. Removal on Tuesday morning to Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Whitefriar Street for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome. GRANT - Colin (First Anniversary) (June 28 2023). All of Colin’s family would like to thank those who sent letters, sympathy cards, mass cards, rip messages, telephone calls, and emails on the loss of Colin. We thank a huge circle of friends and former colleagues for all their support during this difficult time. He is sorely missed. BYRNE, Paul Edward Percival (Roebuck Road, Mount Merrion and late of Knocklyon Drive, Templeogue, Dublin 16) – June 23, 2024, in the kind care of the staff of Tymon North Community Facility. Predeceased by his beloved wife Pamela Hewitt and sister Patricia Mac Artain (née Byrne), sadly missed by siblings Maureen, Peter, and Pernette, nephews, nieces, and cousins of both extended families, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at home on Friday (July 5) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Funeral Service on Saturday (July 6) at 11.00am in Rathfarnham Parish Church of Ireland followed by cremation in Mt. Jerome Crematorium. DARCY - (née D’Arcy), Margaret (Peggy). Aged 92. Cabinteely, and formerly Foxrock, Co Dublin and originally Annagh, Gorey, Co. Wexford, Tuesday June 25, 2024. Peacefully in the gentle care of the staff of the Blackrock Hospice and surrounded by her family. Dearly loved wife for over 57 years of Michael, devoted to and cherished by her six children, David, Marie Louise, Michael, John, Nicola and Alison and their spouses, Yazmine, Martin, Audrey, John’s partner Sarah, Rob and Mark. A much loved and greatly admired “Mama Peggy” to her 12 grandchildren, Catriona, Ian, Michael, Darcy, Dylan, Chloe, Lizzy, Vincent, Eoin, Fiadh and Naomi and Ronan and their mother Eleanor. Dear sister of Frank, Emily Power & Nora Barron, and of her deceased brothers Jim, and Michael (recently). Mourned by her sisters-in-law Marie & Maura D’Arcy, Elizabeth More O’Ferrall & Maura Caleta, her brothers-in-law Gerry Darcy, Dick Barron and Joe Power (deceased) her many nieces & nephews, and her myriad friends from her many different interests during a long and fruitful life. She derived such pleasure from her children, their children, her extended family and her many friends. CARRIGY, (née Edwards) Alicia (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) - June 26 2024. Peacefully, under the wonderful care of the staff at Leeson Park Nursing Home. Devoted mother of Tara, Ronan, Aoife and Liz. Alicia will be very sadly missed by her children, son-in-law Shannon (Liz), Aoife’s partner Garth, Ronan’s partner Carol, grandchildren Jacob, Tarik, Kéva, Angie, Alex, Seán and Jared, brother Seán, extended family and friends. Alicia will be reposing at Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28) on (Friday) evening (June 28) from 5pm to 7pm. A Funeral Ceremony to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday (June 29) at 10am in The Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium.
