THOMPSON - The death has occurred of Jeffrey Thompson (Mush). Unusually peacefully, in Dunedin on Wednesday September 4, 2024, aged 76 years, originally from Menloe Gardens, Blackrock, Cork. Cherished Dad to Alyssha, grandad to Grace, brother to Jerry, Lee and Hatti, husband of Donna, uncle and friend to many. A celebration of life for Mush will be held on Monday 9th September at 1pm in Gillions Chapel, 407 Hillside Road, Dunedin 9012, a wake to follow at the Dunedin Musos Club, 12 Manse Street, Dunedin, from 3pm. Mush’s service will be live streamed at www.gillions.co.nz/kiwichannel Recording of live service available for 6 weeks. Messages to his family c/- Gillions Funeral Services. Special thanks to the team at Otago Community Hospice for their care of this special and unique character.
