McCARTHY - Frank (Kilmacud and formerly of Cork City and Zurich Life) - July 14, 2024, peacefully at Blackrock hospital. Dearly beloved husband to Renee and much-loved dad to Sinead and Conor. Frank will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his loving family, daughter-in-law Sinead, his treasured grandchildren Conor, Ali, Josh, and Alex, brother Tadhg, sisters Mary and Catherine, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Frank will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum, Dublin 14 on tomorrow (Thursday) 18th July from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday 19th July at 10am in the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud, followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park. RYAN (SHANNON), Dr Susan. Saturna and formerly of Old Church, North Circular Road, Limerick. Late of HSE, GP Addiction Services. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on 8th July 2024. Beloved wife of Dr James Shannon, adored mother of Harry, George and Jeremy, daughter of Noreen and the late Michael, and sister of Lisa and Gordon. Susan is deeply regretted by her family, parents-in-law Monica and Henry, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, colleagues and friends. Rest in Peace Reposing at her home (Eircode: V94 DAE3) on Wednesday, 10th July, from 5pm-7pm. Arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, on Thursday, 11th July, for Requiem Mass at 11am. MAC GIOLLA RÍ -  Colm (5 Manor Drive, Kingston Galway, H91 EP6A) - July 14, 2024,  (peacefully) at home. Deeply mourned by his loving wife Kay, five children Triona, Colm, Eoin, Orna and Niamh

and eighteen grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Sinead, Cormac, Laoise, Lorcan, Isabella, Ronan, Luca, Aodhán, Killian, Aria, Jasmine, Ciara, John, Colm, Ultan, Cliona, Rory and Oran. Sadly missed and fondly remembered also by his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law Alan, Grainne, Oriana, Padraig and Mikey, relatives and friends.

Colm will be reposing at home today (Tuesday), July 16, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday),  July 17  to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 11am. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.

Mass will be livestreamed.

MACDOUGALD - Sheila (née Davis) (late of Churchtown, Dublin and Limerick) – July 13, 2024, peacefully, in her 98th year, in the care of Mount Tabor Care Centre. Predeceased by her loving husband Ian; much loved mother and mother-in-law of Olga and Eric, Sandra and Alistair, adored grandmother of her 7 grandchildren, and very special Gran Gran to her 10 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by all her family and friends. Thanksgiving Service on Thursday, 18th July at 11.00am in Grosvenor Road Baptist Church, Rathmines and then to Calary Churchyard, Co. Wicklow (A98 H766) for burial. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Tearfund Ireland.

POGUE - (née Smyth) Carole (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin) - July 13, 2024. Peacefully in St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved mother to Keith and Ian and wife to the late George. She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters-in-law Margaret and Mila, her cherished grandchildren Jonathan, Killian and Sarah, grand-daughter-in-law Holly, "Super Gran" to Leuan, Harrison and Olivia, extended family, neighbours and friends. Funeral Service on Thursday July 18, at 12.30pm in the Church of All Saints, Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. Family flowers only please. WHELEHAN - Anne (née Healy) Blackrock, Co. Dublin (July 23, 1935 –  July 13, 2024). Widow of the late Thomas P. Whelehan. A woman who loved and rejoiced in her children and their spouses: Rebecca & Paul, Kevin & Mami, David & Ruth and her grandchildren Francesca, Mana, Jack, Fíonn, Thea & Bel, many beloved dogs especially Pooka, Sam & Loki, relatives & friends. LENNON - Kathleen (Catherine) Blackrock (Formerly of Hollypark) - Passed on  July 13, 2024, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family, as she wished. 

Now happily joined with her husband Sylvester and sons Adrian and Mark in heaven. Will be missed by her loving sons Declan and Damian, daughters Sharon and Deborah, daughters-in-law, and her adoring grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral home, Blackrock on (Wednesday) July 17, 2024 from 2pm – 4pm. Kathleen’s funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, July 18, in the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtown Park Avenue, at 10.00am, followed by burial in Shanganagh, Shankill.
