FINNERTY - Padraic, Graighin, Aghadoe, Killarney and formerly of Ballinasloe, Galway, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024, after a short illness at the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital, Kerry surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marguerite, his infant son Patrick, his brothers Jarlath, Francis and Mikey and his sister Madge. Sadly missed by his loving children Una (Australia), Olivia (Galway) and Karol (New Zealand), son-in-law Luke, daughter-in-law Haidee and grandsons Edmund, Cian and Nickau, his sisters Anna, Ita, Maura, Joan and Fionnula, brothers Sean and Tomás, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home this Sunday, September 8, from 4pm to 6pm followed by Removal to Prince of Peace Church, Fossa. Requiem Mass will be held at 11am Monday morning September 9, followed by burial afterwards in Aghadoe Cemetery.

DAVIS, Thomas Jessop, Holywell House, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. On 5th September, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of The Ivy Ward, St. John's Hospital. His love for his dogs and family and his unique sense of humour remained. Lovingly missed by his wife Dorothy, his daughters Vandra, Clodagh and Tara and their husbands Keith, Simon and Brian, his seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Died peacefully on Wednesday, 4th September 2024, surrounded by family and confrères, in the wonderful care of Nazareth House Nursing Home. Missionary in Australia, Ireland, England and Sierra Leone. Son of the late Leonore (née Delahunty) and Thomas McNamara. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Olive (Barry), Joan (Mullins), Anne (Gannon) and Leonore (Sexton), and brothers Desmond and John. Deeply regretted by his brothers Fr William (San Antonio, Texas), Séamus (Smithville, Texas) and Gearóid, sisters-in-law Kathy and Ailís, brother-in-law Séamus Mullins (Perth, Australia), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, extended family, wide circle of friends and fellow Spiritans. Kildare, September 4th, 2024, passed away peacefully under the tender care of the staff at Naas General Hospital, predeceased by her beloved husband Adrian, her infant son Oisín, her sisters Mary, Geraldine, Stephanie, Joan and Teresa, her brother Tony and her nieces Bernadette, Siobhan and Sandra.
