O'GORMAN, (née Gibson), Dympna - (Phibsboro, Dublin, formerly Latton, Co Monaghan) – peacefully, with her devoted family by her side, at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, on October 27th, 2024. Beloved wife of Paddy and deeply cherished mother to Enda and Áine. Predeceased by her precious granddaughter Kate Lenihan, her sister Mary (Traynor), and brothers Terry and Packie. She will be deeply missed and loved always by her husband, children, grandchildren Daniel and Holly, son-in-law Tim, adoring niece Ann Marie, sister Anna, sisters-in-law Maria and Joan, brother-in-law Liam, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and countless friends. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand today (Tuesday, 29th October) from 5pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Wednesday, 31st October) at 10.30am in Church of St Columba, Iona Road, Glasnevin. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Cemetery. May Dympna’s beautiful kind gentle soul rest in peace

Paddy I am very sad to hear about the death of your lovely wife Dympna. We met many times on walks in the Phoenix Park and Glasnevin. May she rest in peace.
