Kerry and retired member of An Garda Síochána) December 19th., 2024 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at The Mater Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Liz) (née Moore), dearly loved father of Julie and Eddie and dearest GonGon of Ted and JJ. Predeceased by his brothers Patrick and Jimmy, his nephew Colm and his sister-in-law Bridget. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandsons, brothers Tom, Moss, Richard and Juddy, son-in-law Fred, sisters-in-law Margaret and Ger, Mary, Anne, Rita and Róisín, brother-in-law Brendan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Removal this (Monday December 23rd) morning to St. Brendan’s Church, Cloghane arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 am followed by burial in St. Brendan's Cemetery, Dingle. Peacefully in the kind and loving care of Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home, Greystones, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of Mary (O’Hanlon), much loved dad of Paddy, Judy and Andrew. Dear father-in-law to Sonja, Des and Rebecca. Cherished grandfather of Gavin, Jim, Noah, Beth, Calum, Levi, Laragh and Adam. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers - Fr.Gerry, Michael, Aidan and David, brother-in-law Paddy, sisters in law, Peggy, Theresa, Martina, Madeleine and Ann, and all the extended McNulty and O’Hanlon families, nephews and nieces, neighbours and friends. Funeral Mass Thursday, December 28, at 10am in The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, (which can be viewed live on the following link:https://gkpastoralarea.ie/online/) after which Cyril will be laid to rest in Redford Cemetery, Greystones.

AMBROSE - Tom - As we approach his first anniversary on December 23, Tom’s wife Maisie, children Paula, John, Eamonn and Brona, grandchildren and in-laws would like to thank all those who supported us over the last year. We are very grateful for all the cards and messages from family, friends and colleagues from his time in CCR Roscrea, Milltown Golf Club, DIT Kevin Street and UCD, including many of his past students. Your kind words and fond memories of Tom mean so much and will stay with us. Our gratitude to Fr Paul Kenny and Milltown Parish for all they did to facilitate the funeral and to Fintan Cooney and Laura Jean Kennedy at Fanagans Funeral Directors for their support and care. Thanks also to those who travelled to be with us on the day and to celebrate his life. Particular thanks to all the staff at St Vincent’s Hospital who took such good care of Dad in his final days. We would also like to thank all the wonderful carers who looked after him so well at home in South Hill.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness borne with her characteristic good humour and unwavering determination. Dearly cherished wife of Eddie and beloved mother of Stephen. Rest in Peace. Gay will be reposing on tomorrow evening (Friday) December 22, from 5pm to 7pm at Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown A94 XK28. Funeral Mass at 11am on Saturday (December 23) in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to Our Lady’s Hospice Blackrock and the RNLI. “Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air.”
